Mine just changed the rear drum and brake pads...now good braking liao...cos after going to MHS and back..my brakes warped liao..whahaha

normal servicing cost about S$40....for the normal stuff only...like change plug, change engine oil, wash & tune carbs, de-carbonize your piston head etc...

Go get your scoots service then probably from there you can ask the scooter shop whether other things need to be changed like you mentioned wiring, clutch cable, etc....for internal checking, you need to split the engine hence it is better to ride for awhile and get to know your scoots before you decide on whether a engine rebuilt is needed...

For me, i would recommend you to go to Mr Wee at TA....good and relaible mechanic....

Ah joo is another popular machanic...machine_k, cephelix are some scooterist who go to him....

Yap Sharpey, I've been riding this '67 Sprint since '05

My top speed only 85km/hr but I'm more than content with that speed cos most ppl ride 40km/hr in the city...hahhaahaah

It's raining black cats and black dogs at LengKee right now....and it is only a stone's throw away from Mr Prata !!

 

I'll be wearing my wetsuit to ride later...might also need snorkels....
