so the carburetor still available?my age is 35yrs,so roughly how much on the road?

Guess you may have to run ard(or call) the shops to query abt it?

According to my agent shop, they told me that my BS carb model Bol d'or is the last in sillypore... Didnt even hv the chance to choose colour somemore.. :sian:

Maybe you may just struck lottery if there's 1 new piece available..

:goodluck:

My bike price is abt 14K, overall plus everything in, will set me back approx 16K.. Im 26yrs old.

For DIY, try getting your parts from FJT, Eversuccess or Chong Aik?

Otherwise, getting it repaired @ yr trusted shop shouldnt be a problem..

Is your fairing affected as in damaged?

If not, just hv to replace the signal light unit should be suffice..

:btw: folks, seen the sticky or visit BS webby yet?

Verify if your Bol d'or is affected in a recall...

Mine kena & will be going in on Monday for a replacement of the faulty part..

Oic.. o_O

Well, BS, FJT or CA are altogether, more or less in a link...

Had already check out each & every possible distributors/agent, none of them have the OEM stand... Left my last link, will be going down soon to see if he can help me.

Quote frm BS: "Honda Jap has stopped producing the OEM mainstand, & it requires a minimum order of 1000pcs, then they will manufacture..."

So currently can only look @ alternatives 1st... & you just gave me a more sided decision...

Thnx bro. ;)

I think not, it seems that the screw housing thread from the signal light housing is broken, not the screw, so maybe still can be remove, from inside the fairing.

If DIY, gota try located the screw from the inside, I believe the wire can also be detached, so be cautious.

Otherwise, just bring to yr trusted mech to replace for an OEM set. :thumb:

Scenery very nice overlooking spore & floating restaurant. Or We can also go gelang petah for cheap bike wash & chilling out. We might hv chance encounter Palmer's group returning from Kluang on that day.
  3. We'll return to spore before 6.30pm
  4. Max speed will be 110km/hr.

Alternative place is http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&t=h&ll=1.378791,103.634452&spn=0.00221,0.003326&z=18

The route to reach there is cutting thru a pavement through the GP esso RR's backgate (GP esso towards Tuas). Alot of ppl dunno this secret route.

Missing my Super 4 Bold'Or FBA1859D always... (22nd Feb 2006 ~ 17th Feb 2009)

issit possible to convert the normal naked s4 to boldor?

dun think so , coz the boldor has additional frame to hold the fairing & headlamp; which is stationary unlike the naked version.

might be cheaper to trade in yr naked bike for a 2nd hand boldor at the same shop - dun lose much that way.
