Glad that you guys/gals came back safely. Did Black repair his bike and go Cameroon himself later on?

Ok, some info on Bukit Tinggi. While you guys were at Cameroon, I was at Genting and on the way home yesterday, I pop in to Bukit Tinggi. The place is very artificial. Only a few French buildings, with some shops, games arcade and push carts selling souvenirs. The food there is expensive. The Botanical Gardens is basically a cemented pathway through the Berjaya Hills forests with many plants/trees having placards giving their names and info. It is basically a walk thro the forest for those people who do not like to bash thro' it. They tried to keep the place clean by having a notice saying "No smoking in the forest"!

To go to other places like organic farm and rabbit farm, you have to take their tour bus or your own transpot there. The various places/attractions are too far away to walk there.

For those guests at their hotels, entrance fee is free. So my misses and me paid RM$32 just to go into the resort. Then hor....at the Japanese Village, you have to pay to watch the tea ceremony. To wear the kimono, you also have to pay.....So basically it's pay and pay.....:sian:

My own conclusion: I won't go there again.

Wah PML is not bad leh. Fancy giving him a loan bike. But it's expected also lah, after all you paid so much for a bike, must give royal treatment.:thumb:

So Larree, any other mishaps anot? Heards someone got helmet stolen, visor flying.......

Also heard that you fellas did not go up the summit. For this, I fully agree with Uncle Barnes. When the ground is wet, it is too risky to ride up there. Uncle Barnes had mentioned that his bike slid down due to the gravel when he went up there before. For your info, when I went there a few months back, my bike also slid backwards and topple. :giddy:

yeah thats the kinda treatment we are paying for i guess... one cent $ one cent goods haha

everything well, except those small little details... tay skid as well... but luckily its an minor one... totally agree with the ground there, filled with gravel and the rains actually worsen it. Overall a very gd trip :thumb:

Where did Tay skid? On the way up Cameroon? His tyres are actually semi off-road type, not too suitable for wet tarmac.

how come Gokkim mentioned his bike got problem?

not sure what happened also... when we are on the way up to the peak, whenever he down gear the engine will stall... might be due to overheating...

after that this problem just disappear... not sure wat really happened too

you deserve better from me, i can be better, i will be better!
