Can check out together no prob we can exchange nos. and go around during the weekends. If i don get it this month i still can wait until next month. btw is the Revo better than Spec3? Can any expert highlight the pros and cons between revo and Spec3? im still abit blur between this 2 models.

- How much convenience does the EFI helps in terms of servicing or is it much more tedious and expensive to maintain and service?

- Is Revo more expensive to replace parts compared to those previous spec models?

- Does the standard mods like K&N filter, voltmeter, exhaust applies to Revo? Or Revo don have those mods?

- I notice some old machines that ppl are selling they mentioned that they rebuilt front fork, wheel bearing, brake pumps and etc etc etc at what milage or how often do i need to replace these parts? I only know about simple things like the E.O, plugs, brake pads and sprocks/chain. Are they advised by mechanics or how do u find out they are faulty?

I need to know some crucial issues about Revo to decide my purchase and appreciate any help and advice. Thanks bros~

u can get those non-ABS models.

yeap, injectors might need to be changed if faulty, need PC to tune but if stock exhaust, no need to worry about those.

servicing pls view my signature:cheers:

if its the same sound as mine last time, it shouldn't be a problem.

Hi sparkerS1, can help me with more questions? Does the ECU and injector spoil easily? How often to replace them and how much the cost for these 2 items? I still cannot decide to get spec3 or the revo becoz 2 diff technology. Which one is technically more reliable and hassle free? Please help.....

depends on how u pick up also..

for me.. slow pick up and normally ride 90-110kmph with stock still can hit +/- 300km for full tank if open Vtec too much maybe 280km

Actually the full tank u mean for 300km is how many litre ah? got include reserve? Im assuming if include reserve for 300km like very funny how come makan fuel like Cl.2 but i don think so bah... I think im wrong erm about how many km/litre? The usual 20-22km/Litre? I think ur riding pattern same as me coz i usually hit the small road for 5mins (50-60kmh) then hit SLE>TPE where i will maintain 100-120kmh from Yishun till i reach Loyang. Urs might be a pretty good estimate mileage im looking at.

full tank = 15L not including reserve.. i can hit the most.. 300km++ only

but if say now.. with FS and PCv tuned can always hit 330km+

my journey, from boon lay ave to changi airport lolz..

What is FS and PCv arh? How much do you pay to install and what does this 2 things do?

Btw i check SparkerS1 sig, run in 500km stated. Is that means if i buy a new Revo i run in 500km later i can ride like normal already or how long does the run in take in total like 1000km? Usually when u all run in the bike whats the thing to take note? And is it recommended to modify the bike with the above items after 500km? I remember about changing E.O at 500 then 1000 something like that only.....

FS=full system

pcV=power commander 5

these 2 are a combination for performance for bikes.

not necessary to fix or mod anything, it is not a must.

i think u are very confused, am i correct?

Correct me if im wrong full system is the full exhaust system from header all the way to endcan right? Power Commander 5 i dunno what is it. But Performance mods can still improve fuel efficiency is damn power. Im now trying to source for Revo but it seems like i have to go shop to shop to enquire about trading in my current ride and pushing out a new Revo. Damn sickening process somemore about more than 4 shops i enquired the deals they give are like apple to orange comparison make me lagi boring.

Anyone reading this please advise if it is really necessary to buy a S4 Revo with Boon Siew warranty? Or parellel import should do the job? Apparently a shop kinda offered 2 diff prices for 08 manufactured and 09 manufactured Revo makes sense anot here? I mean to me its the same technology and nothing was improved right but i may be wrong coz im bike purchase noob. The thing i like about this forum is that things are very transparent here and facts can be straightened out easily. Thanks :cheeky:
