Got my revo last two days back.... superb bike.... smooth acceleration..... I tried my fren spec3.... got difference in the smoothness of the engine.... revo got better pick up if compared to stock of spec3... i may be wrong..... buy surely PGM-FI sure made alot of difference in performance... for revo bikers, wat is ur running in distance.... i got contradicting info that i should running in at 1000km and 3000km... which is which? i realise that some revo... the stock wheel is dunlop and some is battlax... why there is a difference leh... me got battlax instead... but both are still good...

it shud b a 1000km bah..

but if want 3000km up to you..

to revo owner..... is it normal for our idling rev is 1.4k..... look like very high leh for a super4...like my fren informed me.... it is very high and 1k is the rite speed.... could it be the cost of the high fuel consumption??????

After owning the bike for 3 mths, my fc still very bad. Ard 200 liddat get into reserve already. Wonder izzit after i lower my RPM. Very smooth, no problem. Last time when first get my bike. Fc is ard 250km before reserve. Which i think consider low for s4. My bike shop told me can lower RPM. Sad. But i think revo is a good bike.

Just to share with u guys. Last time when i first lower down my RPM. I did it in the wrong shop. Which cause my pipe to become hotter. And the chrome part all become very red. I think the stomach. Then went back to my bike shop, they told me my pipe there jammed. Have to do weilding. Which cost me $120. sianz. I still wondering whether Revo can lower down RPM anot. Mine now at 1000.

Hi all Revo/S4 Owners!

Got my Revo for 3 wks and have been following up on comprehensive information shared by all S4 owner in this forum.Much appreciate on all e information shared by you guys.Shall use my virgin post to offer a big thanks to all of you. =P

Tyre:Mine's a PI but with dunlop too.Nt sure how to relate why there's a diff of typre btw batalex and dunlop (Maybe the recent increase price of rubber?).Not trying to say battlax is cheaper or wad,jst that wadever come in stock, i'll appreciate it.

Rmb my previous SP came with ''IRC'' tyre

FC: FC really a headache hor!Macam drink water leh!Now really got worried after knowing im not the only Revo owner that experience it.

However, learnt from an experience S4 owner ,maybe I trust the fuel gauge too much liao and nve actually filled full tank.Last recall is that when my gauge blink reserve,I pump almost up to the rim..but petrol reading from kiosk is actually 11 litre nia(i thot main tank is 14 litre wor).

So far, im still at half tank..will continue to have 2 more full tank when hit reserve. After 3 fill, will avg up the fc (as advised by the exp S4 owner)..hope can see improvement..ARBO really need SAVE GAIA..take bus liao!

Gentlemen, somehow this revo love to drink our fuel leh... my fc is only 250km then it turn into reserve.... i guess we should reduce our idling speed to maybe 1.2 or 1.1.... as i was informed by mechanic, it is normal for fi bike to have 1.4 idling speed... but i felt it is drinking our fuel like water.... havent open vtec yet cause running in.... very sianz seh... now miss my old pulsar for the fc... haha..... very love this new wife cause it sure have terrific power pick up and performance....

i just till running in first then after running in, i will try to reduce the idling speed....

Revo owner, we should have a meet up session so we can exchange our view about our ride....

full liao leh.as stated eariler on lor..the kiosk metre read 11 litre ..cant really see anymore space for another 3-4 litre.(main tank 15L right?)

My fill was less den 5km after it blink reserve.

jst 2 hrs back it drop from 3 bar to 2. trip 1 shows 105km ...sobbb

Hopefully its running in that cos this..

Overall still a thumbs up for this bike!

i suggest calculating FC in km/L would be more accurate...

how to calculate in km/L..?

first, top up your tank to the brim, squeeze as much as you can even in SG petrol pump..

then reset your odometer.. just ride until the fuel gauge reads reserve..

go to pump again till brim..

take the mileage(km), dividing the amount of petrol(L) you pump..

try a few more times to get the average result..

this method is quite accurate to me as i do not have a fuel guage, i pump based on mileage

and i normally do get the right mileage with the amount of petrol pumped..

there's only once i ran outta petrol missing by abt 4 bus stops with this method..

the reason why calculating by mileage alone is not accurate as different bikes got different tank capacity..

ie: a wave125(carb) can run abt 180km before reserve, the mileage is short, doesnt mean it's not fuel efficient..

when pump to full, it only needs 4L.. making the FC at 45km/L..

Lol i dono wat im gonna say is practical or not..but i jus give la..don flame me..since EFI means its all computer controlled.. its all predetermined on how much fuel is flowing in at diff speed and rpm..only if someone could reprogram it to tell the computer lower the fuel going into the engine..i dono...

After reading at the forum i thought my fc is the worse. Ard 190km enter reserve. Currently still trying, 90km enter left 4 bar. My full tank i think ard 16 litre plus reserve.

whoa! its a great issue ey on the FC! ahaks!..

well personally mine is 280++km

i think those who are lesser depends on riding style bah..

if open more then 6rpm sure suck more fuel..

cool 500km mine almost there so running in is almost done!

hehe..

been using V power since 1st top up and i'm happy with my Revo!

thirsty a lil bit nia..

if change idle speed scared later affect performance and mileage ley..

just my 2 cents view!

overall uppzz Revo! Nice bike!
