hi guys.. btw i juz got tis s4 revo 2weeks a ago, the acclerator is damn smooth! power!

 

Congrats to u bro , cant wait to get mine!! anyway to the owners of Revo, despite the very gd reviews of revo in the forum, my fren said that one of a mototiam said Revo got some issues..but i did not ask him more bout it cos it jus turned me off..cos i kno Honda is superb in reliabilty, so jus to reaffirm my faith in Revo,, does it rock?

Does anyone know whether Revo idling can be lowered to ard 1000? Before, mine was 1400 after warm up. But after i lowered my idling to 1000, my bike like no power? Can anyone advise me? Thanks!

i brough my bike to adjust my idle speed cos mine is also 1.4 a bit high which cos high FC, but the mech told me better not to change it will affect it performance, so in the end i decided not to.

I agree. 2 days ago i just set to 1000 then something wrong. Engine not smooth and gt prob. So i went back to my bike shop to do back my setting. So EFI should not be set. And 1.4 is quite normal for EFI, so don bother to go change the setting. These is what i know. Just to share with all Revo rider.

Is it a 1 way or 2 way alarm? Btw i heard from mechanics and friends better not to install. If something goes wrong with the wiring, then all will be affected.

Hi Hi, dont worry i've just got my bike an Alarm, everything goes as usual nothing went wrong.

 

Basically an alarm is just a stand alone device and it's tap parallel to the bike battery and nothing else so dont worry about effecting the EFI engine. think of this, most of the BIG bike is EFI then does it mean none of them can install alarm?? no right then thoes alarm manufacture Tan Bo Jia liao lo...

 

just my 2cent of view.

 

but i will suggest to install alarm then nothing, play safe than sorry right?

Umm... How do i know whether the alarm is good or not?

1 way is when activated the alarm will just sound off that's all.

2 way alarm system consist of a controller and a pager, when alarm activated the alarm will sound off and the pager you are carrying will vibrate or beep to alert you (but be mindful the pager only work with a limited range)

 

the best way to find out a alarm is good or not is to ask around lo. or u can take a poll for recommanded for alarm system.

 

to me a average one like Steel-Mate is good than enough although it's a product of china.

it is common to have a burning smell for new bikes due to exhaust packing burning up.

What's the milliage of revo before going to reserve tank? Mine ard 230km go reserve already..Is there any problem with that?
