Youngsters nv plan their budget in long term thus needa face with the consequences.

Buying a bike is not just about it, considerations like parking, ERP gantries, road tax, insurance, installments, petrol, servicings, wear & tear components and riding gears are also very impt as well.

Cruiserian bro. What are the enhancements ur bike has? Care to list out? :)

Bro, actually mine nothing much, mostly are accessories:

- Yoshimura R77 Slip-on

- Iridium Spark Plug (this is good, can feel difference)

- KNN Air Filter

- Max Performance Voltmeter

- Hella Supertone Horns

- Steel Mate 2 ways alarm

- Garmin Zumo GPS with bike charger

- Givi Monokey Maxia E55 Top Case

- Eazyoiler (Removed, cuz too much flings and not easy to regulate so I removed it)

- Radiator Mesh (Yoshimura design, by Godsendworx)

- BMW Grip (I find it not as amazing as what a lot of forumers said, it just quite normal. My palms still numb)

- Racing Boy Handle bar Riser extension (My body and hand too short, with this i feel more comfortable)

- Osram Night Breaker Plus H4 light bulb

For horns, voltmeter, GPS Charger and alarm, I installed them myself to save money. I find it quite fun. Haha

yoshimura alot of different kinds suitable for revo right? if next time i go buy can ask them let me hear the sound of each one first before i buy ah? LOL

iridium spark plugs, knn air filter, voltmeter i also intend to put, voltmeter think i will take from my pulsar, still nice!

i got one bosch snail horn, got from my cousin who has a car shop in malaysia for 45rm =P

ur alarm is it expensive? will it cause a high drain to the battery since i sort of understand many revos face batt. problems.

ur GPS everytime u finish riding need to remove or not ah? else will easily stolen?

i think i first few months buy revo wont want to put box first. but will soon invest in a givi box! ur box e55 means 55l?

radiator mesh also i want put. HAHA SO MUCH POISONNN NOOOO.

handlebar wise... i see if the stock suits me not. if it suits then most probably wont change. i see alot of ppl put rhental fat bar eh. that one raises the overall handlebar abit right? higher handlebar is it like more awkward to corner or stuff? lol.

[Yes, got different models]

[Don't think can hear the sound first, but you can visit motoworld for yoshimura inquiries]

[i bought from Philippines, less than $60. So far so good, don't have any battery issue.]

ur GPS everytime u finish riding need to remove or not ah? else will easily stolen?

[Yep, Definitely have to remove after use. LOL. Its pretty easy to remove and keep.]

ur box e55 means 55l?

[Yes, 55 liters :) ]

[Corner still ok. It depends on your preference, some ppl like to have more forward lean position, some ppl like me, would prefer to have more upright position, more relax :) ]

thanks for the great help bro cruiserian!! definitely i would prefer forward lean over upright posture. i know theres some data about this on sparker's faq. will go check it out! =)

actually the question im really asking is rhental fat bar is for a more upright position right?

or are there many kinds of rhental fat bar, some which allows modifications to a forward lean posture?

@crusier. If u find e vibration of handlebar uncomfortable, do u wear gloves? In e past i also buay tahan e vibration, gloves save my life. ^^

Ur gps came with mounting? E mounting is quick release or bolted on?

@StrongBow. Dun think e shop can let u sample but smart salesman maybe ve sound recording for buyers to hear like akrapovic. Easier to find e sound online i guess.

But if ur preference is sound, i think yoshi is good choice. So far i hear quite a variety of pipes, mostly yoshi is louder and nicer even on smaller cc bike. Mine is akra.

- BMW Grip (I find it not as amazing as what a lot of forumers said, it just quite normal. My palms still numb)

I asked my friend to buy one pair of BMW grips, havent fix yet. Wanna feel the grip too.

$24 including GST for a pair.

ehhhh. always say u old man. haha. how old are you? =P maybe need to call u sparkers uncle instead of sparkers bro.

This is wat ppl used to call me, age is a very sensitive qns to me :p

The sound of Yoshimura R77 on my Revo. I got this pipe tgt with bike purchase. Video sound not that nice, actual one is more bassy.

U seen my GSXR yoshi video before? tats wat i called clear carbon.

BTW on the kill switch before u turn on the igition key as to reduce wastage of current unless u have the headlight on/off switch.

Waiting for the starting up sweep, on the engine kill switch and wait for the activation of auto-choke and EFI with the headlight running consumes current.

that one raises the overall handlebar abit right? higher handlebar is it like more awkward to corner or stuff? lol.

renthal fat bars are more for cosmetic purposes, wider handler bar and slighly lower than stock handler bar position.

I dun feel comfortable wif tat thus i nv change. Awkward handling as well unless u used to the handling.

actually the question im really asking is rhental fat bar is for a more upright position right??

no, in fact lower as above answer to u.

Any recommendation on where to buy gloves? LAB? Regina?

For the RAM gps mount, its like:

Handlebar mount >> ballhead >> screw on to bracket >> gps

The gps can be detached from the bracket, or I can also detach the ballhead from the handlebar mount. Normally I will remove ballhead cuz it looks attractive.

$60 from motoworld. I like e salesperson at there. Prefer service over price. ^^ as long as reasonable can le.

There extra padding at e bottom of palm

And also e area just below ur fingers. Quite comfy, I'm quite weak so in e past cannot tahan e vibration. I ve another pair of gloves so alternate. Today is this pair.

For ur mounting kit. E part tat holds ur gps is buy from RAM? So if lets say i wan to mount a iphone or another gps brand or even gopro? Can?

@Cruiserian

Ya, go Motoworld for gloves. Good and reasonably priced. Whilst gloves can help to absorb some vibration, the main function of gloves is for protection. So, buy gloves with the most protection you can get for your money. Mine is the GK06-501. Retail $100 but can ask for discount if you buy other things or regular customer.

No offence to danielling but his gloves offer only minimal protection. Looks like the ones I used for my bicycle rides. It's ok for slow speed falls but for motorcycle riding, it's not suitable.

As for your vibration/numbness issue, do check why you're getting so much vibration. I mostly ride with gloves. However occasionally when the GF forgot to bring her gloves on short journeys, I let her use mine and I ride without gloves. With or without gloves, I don't feel much vibration. There is some very slight vibes at certain RPM range but overall it is at quite a low level. If your bike vibrates till hands get numb, I think it is excessive, so please have it checked.

Sources of vibration:

- check all handlebar bolts

- Could be your riser extension. Did you feel vibes without the extension?

- headstock bearings (don't know why but some call them "cone bearings")

- engine mounting bolts

If you've checked everything and they are ok, then you can also cure the vibes by installing heavier bar-ends like the Motovation types. If that doesn't work, there are also "helicopter technology" balancers for handle bars. It's more expensive than Motovations'.

Suggest you don't buy balancers yet. When we meet up soon, you can try my R&G balancers to see if it works on your bike.

Be wary of the source of information for your bike's maintenance. Some FAQs are compiled by people who lack the technical know how.

@ramsnake. No offense taken. Ya my gloves is just simple cloth type. If really fall, protection is minimal. But no glove is e worst!!

Gloves also help in some other ways, like keep ur hands from being too cold during rain and night. And also reduce e impact from flying stones. Reduce e cold will prevent ur hands from numbing. Reduce flying stone impact is safety becoz our human reaction may react to e impact from e stones.

For me, i choose this type becoz i dun feel comfortable with those armoured gloves. I find them not flexible enough and worry tat will affect my hands flexibility. Maybe more exp models will not give me this feeling?

On ur gloves, actually i find e knuckle armour type also weird. Science proven tat falling from bike e first contact is palm and not kunckle. :) i sincerely doubt i will use my knuckle to break fall.

wa, u r really safety conscious. Pillon also wear glove. Good good!!

For e vibration, using my old s4 as eg. Beginning i can ride free hand. Few years later, when i dun hold e handlebar, e shaking will start and get worse until. I hold e handlebar again.

But in terms of handling, conering and normal riding, no issues for me. E problem was with me for around 4 years. :/

I got my spx-10 alpinestars glove at regina for 90 dollar. Got carbon fibre knuckle protector. The inner part of the glove is made of leather. Carbon fibre is useful when u use ur hand to protect ur head, or other parts of the body and when u start rolling. Haha. My gloves got mesh also. So won't sweaty palm n glove won't smelly!

Actually once those amoured gloves season, it's quite comfortable, I using gloves with knuckle protection & thick palm cushion.

It also depends on how u fall, unawarely you might have ur knuckles glazed.

My old Alpinestar SPX survived 2 crashes, damages on the gloves are knuckle & finger & palm, so dun be surprised yea
