mine is not chiong... spec 3 stanley..

and it onlyhappens after i put on headlight protector.. b4 that it was perfectly fine.. and besides the " stain ", ther was this white powderish thing on it also.. that one was removable.. sighs..

cos i only notice it when i saw white substance on it then i rubbed and it went off but the stain still there..

 

 

must be the headlight protector fault.. btw mine was the DIY type..

could be the materail lousy...

 

 

anyone knows whats the cause besides that the material is lousy?

any easier ways to remove i t?

oic...in this case, the gap spacing is too close!..likely that spot is touch each other when you ride fast. Looks like 'clash' mark due to contact.

If this is true, it should be the inside surface of the protector and the outer surface of your headlamp cover.

 

If I were you, I'll use liquid rubbing compound (NTUC at Centre hub car section accessories have (now got 20% off bizard sales) and then use 3M plastic polish. May not be perfect but at least you can do away with about 80%...patient would get you 90% :angel:

yes u r right ! outer surface of my headlamp cover and inside surface of protector..centre hub as in amk hub?

 

what brand of rubbing compound u recommend?

3M plastic polish.. any particular details i need to take note of when im searching for it ?

Any brand will do but usually those more $s ones are always better of course lah..most of them are either creamy or liquid. Comes in tubes and plastic bottles. Usually it says "rubbibg compound" or "scratch remover". If you go to Bukit Batok, drop by Autobac..they have plenty there. About 3M polish..its about $14 or $16 and so far, I only saw it at Autobac. There is another brand but I have more confidence with 3M product...especially their paste waxs..even those "Nano"..$40+ wax and new age waxs cannot be there paste wax ($26-$29).

Just asking, my bike nw when start, need to warm up quite long b4 it stable down....

 

if nt, will keep stall n stall..... even at traffic light junction when i just move off from start....

 

Any ideas wat causes it? Or shld i go service my carb....

Anyone knows where to get a a spec III fork brace? Need not be daytona or whatever, just a normal will do.
