Ok i need an expert opinion for those who had rode or presently ride nouvo elegance 135... This rear brake of the bike always comes a squeaky sound whenever it is activated.... The rear brake has been recently changed... Care to share what makes the sound be heard and how do i eliminate that squeaky sound? LOL!!!

I think all drum brakes like that when it's cold or wet. Had the same problem before with my Wave and Spark.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes. I do agree wid rollabyka. U can ask the mech to take out the drum brake hub & blow out all e dust stuck in it. Dat cld help sometimes. ;)

Bro Suede, saw u yest evening @ e traffic junction along Hougang Avenue 1 and u were turning right. I was along Tampines Road. Ha!

Actually i my bike alot of chrome parts.... hahaha...but after a rainy day... aiyoh stain all over.

 

As for the transmission i dun knw can be modified or not? Heard bigcow got modified before. :)

It's been a while since I pop by. Got a few reviews though.

 

Used dunlop TT900 Thai previously. Lasted me around 9months and about 13000km before the tyres really make me lose confidence. Using 80/90 profile for front and rear. Mileage about 32-33km/l.

 

Now i've changed to Duro 70/90 front and 80/90 rear. Mileage still the same, which makes me wonder why and grip level is IMHO horrible. I will probably stick to dunlops be it Thai or japan or bridgestones. Check with mech at JB for Maxxis. The only have 70/90 for front and 90/80 for rear and of different models. No 80/90 at all.

hi guys,

i just got myself a nouvo 135 and im wondering whats the periodic maintenance and monthly maintenance ?

plus the cost involved.

and whats the fc for the bike and top speed?

lastly how much is the eo capacity, does it have an oil filter and how often do u need to change the coolant plus how is the capacity?

5000 km interval servicing - spark plug, engine oil and gear oil.

 

If use original parts... go for full service before 20 000km. :)

HELLO GUYS dead thread here. . Im a learner rider wanting to take the plunge and get a nuovo. :) how much is a new bike otr? 18 btw :) Whats the top speed and fc like?

Generally good and fuss-free bike for 2B new riders. From my memory:

 

FC: 42km / l

EO: 1 l

GO: 200 ml

Fuel tank: 4 l+

Max comfortable speed: 100kmh

 

Generally new riders should ride automatic imo. Allows you to focus on the road and enjoy the journey.
