i see.. is it ok to maintain at 100km/h thru out the journey?.. how often do i need to change the EO?

 

1500 to 2000.. depend on wat type of EO u use...

I'm usin Motul fully-syn 10w40 so far so gd, engine is still runnin smooth aft 3000km, remember to change ur gear oil & check ur spark plug n air filter too...

Hi I'm new to this forum. I was thinking of getting a brand new nuovo elegance 135 after I pass my 2B. Any advise on which shop to go to? Secondly which (trusted & reliable)workshop to go to for maintenance/servicing. I don't plan to go JB. Thanks for your advices and help in advance bros. Merry X'mas to all. =)

I'm gettin 30km/l usin aftmkt cdi

Read dat some stock nouvos managed to achieved 35-40km/l wow dats quite fuel efficient for an auto scoot...

u all riding nouvo 135 is it?, im riding at115 nouvo, one full tank can last me 5 days, to and fro from tamp to changi.. ride ard 70 most of the time.. so for me this is a fuel efficient bike.. intend to change air filter to aftermarket ones to add a minor boost for my nouvo.. nouvo parts i heard from my friend only ah boy jb the office hrs one has a lot of it, the other jb shops must order.. if u go thailand than thats another story, nouvo paradise, all things cheap2, be it pars or coverset..

i'm riding a nouvo S and with ard 3.8 litres of shell 98, can last 3 days everyday from jurong to SMU and back to jurong.. xpressway always ard 100km/h.. and i always pump whn the needle touches the red region.. often pillion my gf but fc doesn't change much..

WYR cdi installed by previous owner tink he got it from wing yap motor...

Last nite i went unique@toh guan to grab a fresh set of michelin M45 tyres for my bike, i saw they sellin aftmkt cdi for spark/x1r wonder if its compatible for nouvo damage is $150

 

Pick up is greatly improved & top end slightly faster by 5-10km/h compared to stock cdi

i dont do cornering often and rides even if it's raining..

 

and wat's the dmg for the tyres? =)

haha i was waiting for someone who can give a better answer to that too.. my belt was changed every 20k.. servicing wise so far only engine oil, spark plug every 3k..

TT900 is gd for cornerin, M45 thread is slightly diff its very sticky a soft-compound tyre great on wet & dry road similar to pilot sporty...

I got them at $95 a pair made in thailand

 

Nouvo got no oil filter
