Under warranty? Go to hong leong and get it rectify.

I agree with bro alifk69. Happened to me too but I didn't start for a week. Cos our bike uses electric starter, the batt dies a bit faster. And if u hardly ride the bike, the current will trickle out also.

Ur self skided fall scenario is the same as me hahahaha~~!!!

 

Dear all,

 

FYI. I skid while slowing down in front of the Yishun Interchange. What exactly happened was that Last Sunday, I went out with my friends. On my way back to yishun, it was raining. The floor is slippery and I ride slowly. Upon reaching the traffic light in front of yishun interchange, I saw that it was red light. I slowed down the vehicle using engine break followed by intermittent breaking. Suddenly, before coming to a stop, I feel that the wheels do not have any contact with the ground. I hold on to the handle bar tightly and the bike skid towards the left and I fell on my right side together with the bike. Luckily it was late at night and not much vehicles. 2 taxi drivers saw me on the floor and ask if I am alright. After that they quickly push my bike to the roadside. I slowly regain conscious as the impact was quite bad. I could feel that my heart almost stop beating at the moment when I fell. The next day, I went to Yamaha for my 1st 1000km servicing. I checked with them on the condition of the tires but they say that it is ok. As for my helmet, I bought a GPR helmet from them and I throw away my current helmet as it was too long.

 

There was a few questions that I have in mind.

 

I believe that riding in the rain is not advisable as these does not depend on the brakes and the tires but also depend on the ground that is in contact with the bikes.

 

Another things is that Is there any better tires that actually has a firmer grip for Nouvo?

I try Uncle's method! It really works! 1st try cannot start. Then I turn to full throttle. 2nd try immediately startup!

U can try though. Some of their mechs are quite friendly.

They do have quite a number of accessories for Nouvo Elegance.

Nouvo MX not dat much though but they can order for u if ur looking for anything in particular.

Just approach the salesman.
