Hi all, i just serviced my front brake calipers seems like the brake pads are restricting revolutions on my wheel. Any info on what shall i do? Anw, how about friday night, next week friday night aft 12 for a meet up?

 

Did u changed your front brake pad? It'll normally takes awhile for the brake pad to sit in properly.

i had the same problem as you!

1st; changed wheel bearing... after a while problem come back

2nd; changed brake pads... after a while problem come back

3rd; service the bracket of the brake... after a while problem come back

4th; finally went to a more wave-experienced shop they took my whole caliper out, bleed, took out the pistons (DAMN! so much dirt in it!) cleaned it up! AND CHANGED THE "O-RING" (or that was what the mech called it..)... after a while the problem IS SOLVED!!

Guys, my left mirror gave way while I was riding just now. After inspecting the mirror, I found out that the joint of the mirror stand detached from the handles inside the headlight crown. Any idea where can I get it fix?

 

not too sure maybe send to a bike shop to inspect first? dun think can fix.. or change whole handlebar?

 

Already got it fixed. Welded back the joint costs only $15. Strong & healthy bike once again. :)

Yo bro, you went to a wave mech? If you dont mind where isit? anw, I didnt change my brake pads. But i suspect it could be the local fork which im using because i noticed the tremendous amount of washers on my forks!!!!!!!!! could be different dimensions? hmmm. ANW, what about the meeting next week? COme on wave riders, pour in your ideas!

aaaaand how much does a battery cost ?

 

nvr go jb with bike b4, but kinda 'itchy' to enter. but dunno what to do change. any suggestions ? :D:D

Battery I just change.. $38 @ yishun industrial. I don't know expensive or not..

 

Any bro here know which shop sell leo vince scoot for honda wave type r? not alot of shops got stock for the exhaust for honda wave. If you know the price, please state as well. Thanks!

Jb....I was once a regular customer at jb 6 yrs back for 2 freaking years but all I want to say is...mechanics there all chin chai but then their parts are cheap but do not be mislead by local items or imitation parts. Sucks workmanship. Shinko or maxxis is the top Tyres in jb now.

What batt you using? Original one? Unique should have but must order I think...check with then.

Test your horn. If it sounds like a puss in a boot, time to change. Starter cannot start also another symptom.

If don't have, try Motorworld.
