Hi all,

I came across some risers online. the mounting for it is 1/2 inch, where the mounting on our stock handlebar is 12mm. Any1 face this problem when changing stock handle bar to custom risers?

hey guys , am having a problem with my steed, the top gaskets for both v-twins is leaking EO and it blackens the left side covers, Already brought my bike to two well known bike shops , one at alexandra n one at auto bay both this yr . . The gasket rubber was changed n so forth but still having this problem, Any one can recommend a reliable mechanic to help out for this? tot of keeping the bike n do basic modification but the leaking is not too encouraging {{

Those mentioned bike shops couldn't solve the leaking problem? Have you try going back to them and show them the leaking? If they can't do anything to help you, then I think I got to start searching for another bike shop for servicing. Mind to share what are the shops' name or person you visited?

Ya. I saw urs but It is only a quarter of the rim. Am looking for about 125-145 deg at least for mod.

Anyway how u guys painted the rim?

Last I heard from my mech that if powercoat the spokes, it will peel off in time due to the tensioning of the spoke.

Powercoat the rim is ok but the problem will be the spokes

Any advise on the method u guys use?

prefer not to name shops bro;) though both shops advertise their services here in SBF.

So was wondering any specific shops u brudders go to to get the steed fixed ?

Da current fender on my bike is shorter den wat i`m sellin.. da one i`m sellin is much more longer if wat u`re sayin by 125-145 degrees.. almost 3/4 of the rear wheel.. pics as below when attached onto da bike..

as fer spokes.. best alternative is just to spray after fixin.. or u can buy new chrome ones.. mine i just sprayed the whole rim.. cos even if powdercoat.. when chgin tyres in future.. it`ll still scrape off the colour.. so imo.. no point.. but its still ur call.. =)

I am actually looking for more length(perimeter) so that I have the freedom to different design while fitting.

The one that you are selling are more or less standard thus I am unable to customise it to my design...

Anyway possible to tell me where in Singapore you can get a fender of long perimeter?

Mine is serviced by a mech named Paul in Alexandra Motors (

Brought my steed to him when i bought it from a random seller. did a check and found a few things not up to standard despite paying a high price for it.

1) coolant dried

2) damaged radiator

3) leaking EO from my twins

4) reserve fuel switch leaking

5) high rpm masking tuning issues

issue 1 and 2 was quite troublesome but was solved with a bit of cash. reserve fuel switch was rebuilt quite easily. header gaskets and left engine block gaskets were changed eventually to stop leaking EO. rpm lowered but engine kept stalling so air filter was changed. bike still stalled frequently. changed the air box to carburetor rubber joint as my mech thinks its leaking. wash and retuned carbs.

settled. now its sweet.

terrible one

It's so different from a Nightster. The forks are longer and has more rake. It's a softail and uses a hugger type rear fender. The and the engine surely doesn't look like one from H-D. Maybe can bluff some ppl who think every cruiser is a H-D, but other den the paint they look very different
