sound like it is a good idea going HID...but what is thw cost??power consumption?? if too high power ...rectifier and battery replacement more frequently..

 

FIY fine is $1k if I'm not wrong.. Just get an aftermarket replacement, will be much cheaper.. Think Ah Boy got the Honda Rune look-a-like headlamp.. Not sure how much tho..

Oh no.. Aftermarket HID lamp is illegal, fine for installing it is $1k.. Installing it is not very ex tho..

Can try get a second hand one...I still trying to find out where is the m/cycle scrapyard to get 2nd hand parts which are still good for use.

Anyone changed the front signal light bulb before? Where to get and how much?

One of signal light bulb is probbably gone blow soon...bcoz dimmer than the other. I think bcoz both signal lights are constantly on..so shd change liao.

Cost not sure. Power consumption is actually lower at 35W compare to halogen bulb wic is 55W.

main frame is alterred

 

he chopped off the whole pillion seat frame area starting from the mid section of the driver seat area. if u look closely u can see the cut mark.. the original frame is not like this. has 2 subframe sticking out from the rear to tahan the pillion and rear fender.

 

so since he chopped off the whole area.. i'm assuming he fabricated a crossbar to function as the seat mount. That should be how he did it.. but pls dun try.. cos if u screw this up, your bike is as good as scrapped.. lta doesnt approve of frame mods jus to inform all... BUT...........as always, do anything you want, do it proper and dun get caught

Bro, less than $80(have to bargain if @ Ah Ann), I think, can get u 2nd hand good conditioned Steed's headlamp, just gota dig the scrapyards.

There aint much left as most has either been stripped & sold or scrapped, or shipped overseas for re-conditioned. So hurry.

looking at your mods gets me stoked. but now have to prioritise so..

Nah, mine just small mods.. Calculated the total cost for the front signal and it total up to be $22.. So it's still within my very low budget.. Finished threading the wires tru the rod and painting the signals+rod already.. just need to find time to mount it and hopefully be able to tidy up the wires at the front..

 

Why don't you sell the number plate separately?

If i'm not wrong those buying first hand can transfer the number over with an additional 100 dollars.
