1 or 2 day trip KL-need help

 

hi tis is my 1st time gg for trip..will be going on 210707 n back by 220707...i am riding a super4 wit my gf and my fren riding a rvf with her gf..

i need some help,

 

regarding about the route..

-wat is distance

-if lets say i am travelling at 120km-140km how long will i take to reach there

-how many petrol station i need to stop for petrol before i can reach KL

 

hotel wise

-which hotel u guys can recommend

-do i need to bring my own chain n lock

 

whr can i get a map of msia as in the hard copy wan..

 

wat time is the best to depart from sg..

 

thx guy..any bros who are interested are welcome to come along..

it takes 3hr if ya constant speed is 160km/h... 2 stop 1 at gelang patah esso another not sure forget liao mayb at machap,go bck time 3 stop to top up oil coz u goin bck spore mah,went KL b4 w ma specIII,goin bck time 180km/h,hotel at chow kitt rd.. coz e carpark is underground and after 10pm it is closed like garage and summore there is a security guard...if u wanna e hotel name pm me,i try to find out for u k... dis dec goin again mayb 4 super4,2 RL model and 1 R1,if wanna join juz pm me aightss...all e best bro..:angel: its fun try it...

About 300 Km from Tj Kupang Toll to Sg Besi Toll.

Maximium 4+hrs inluding rest & top up.

 

-how many petrol station i need to stop for petrol before i can reach KL

 

That will depend on the petrol consumption of your bike

 

The next R&R will be Macap, Pagoh, Ayer Keroh, Seremban then Sg Besi..

 

-which hotel u guys can recommend

Anytime but please take note that the peark hour traffic jam in KL can kill you.

 

avoid morning peak hour entering KL during weekdays, ideally will be after 10am, which means u should be travelling along Seramban after 930am, do some planning with it, u should be fine.

 

entering KL anytime before 11am during weekends will be good. :thumb:

Hi ah Jap. I'm from KL, If you need any help when your in KL just give me a PM. Its a good idea to bring along any lock if you have one since you'll need it. I'm also organising a Night Ride With Spit Fire Bikers on this Friday night 20/07/2007.

Time for a bigger bike....

2nd stop cannot be at machap la..machap is juz another petrol station after GP esso leh..correct mi if i m wrong..or wat u meant was aft the stop at machap i dun have to stop until i reach KL is it?

 

btw wat is the name of the exit at NSH to KL?

Hi Ah Jap!

 

Goin to KL is easy bro.

 

Gelang Patah- 1st petrol Top Up

Pagoh (150km) - 2nd Petrol Top Up

Seremban (280+km) - 3rd Petrol Top Up

 

Next, u will exit at Sg Besi Toll.

Then Exit at Pusat Bandaraya. Meet a round abt and make on the 1st left turn. U r on the way to ur desired hotel. Get a map from GP esso or ask ard for direction. The route for the goin back is the same bro. :)

 

For hotels go to Asiatravel.com. U can do the booking there. For me, I stayed at Bintang Warisan having a basement carpark with CCTV and Security Guard. Rm55 per night! Cheap and near to the shopping ctrs that u want to go!

Help U save some money.....1) After checkpoint don't chiong straight away

2.) When approaching any overhead bridge, slow down 3.) When vehicles on the other side of the highway flash their headlight, slow down. They are trying to tell you something 4.) When most vehicles suddenly all slow down, U should slow down oso cos the unwanted toll collections is hiding just ahead...good luck and enjoy your trip. :p

dun chiong straight away as in speed limit wat?wat is their speed limit?

Highway speed limit is a slow 110kph.........but keep your big big goli eyes open.. certain parts of the highway is onli a slow slow 90kph especially near the exit to Seramban....and when nearing KL. o_O

Book in advance better......

so u dun have to go around looking for hotels in case theyre fully booked

Btw Federal hotel is good but u can get better rate at that area
