i dont think it makes economical sense to insure yr RXZ with 1st party insurance.

3rd party - allows other road users to claim against your insurance when you are found liable for an accident with them

2nd party - on top of whatever offered by 3rd party, it covers market value in event when the entire bike is burnt or stolen

1st party - on top of whatever covered by 2nd party, it allows you to claim for damages against your own insurance in self-incurrred accidents

nowadays, the insurance premiums for bikes are freaking high esp for young riders. for your case, i can imagine that the premiums u need to pay for 1st party insurance for 2yrs can easily add up to the cost of another 2nd hand RXZ. :sweaty:

if you are really concerned with having a peace of mind, get 2nd party will do. honestly, u will avoid claiming your own insurance even in the event of self-incurred accidents as u would prefer to keep your NCD/NCB.

just my 2 cents of thots. perhaps other bros with other views can share as well? :)

yes. 2nd party will allow you to claim in the event when entire bike is burnt/lost.

but then will come the scenario when u are not sure if it is worth it to lose your No Claim Discount/Bonus (NCD/NCB) for making the claim.

can try checking with ntuc income with regards to the installments for insurance.

after mitsui raised their prices, there is a chance that u may get lower premiums with ntuc income, axa, etc.

NTUC's Installment plan is only applicable for insurance premiums which is above $500

hi guys, speaking of insurance, anyone knows if courtesy bikes (provided by a company to a rider when his/her bike is being serviced at the workshop) have insurance coverage? if so, are they all-rider insurance, or?
