hey guys..just wana ask whats wrong with my bike. Whenever im at gear one wanting to go off, sometimes when i want to open trottle the bike just dies off like that. Is there anything wrong with the trottle or maybe i didnt warm up the bike first. It happened a couple of times already, kena horn by people also. Is it the TPS thing? the trottle response seems slower abit now..thxs for the help..

hey i also face the same problem sometimes...

but now i start warming up bike for a longer period of time before moving off( esp in the morning..start of the day..) and it helps!

 

my guess is the engine hasn been smoothly running yet, so a sudden turn of the throttle might cause the engine to cut off and thus the 'dying off'. the mixture of fuel and combustion la..something like that..~

tot got the TPS thing and the accelerator thingy to make the combustion better..haiyo...guess have to go out early abit to warm up the bike..anyone facing the same problem?

ya have..

 

read Bam's posting on Acceleration Pump, and TPS...

it states that the pump controls the fuel supply...TPS is for ignition...dunno what also...TPS crap...help save fuel..jus know that part..

 

but our bike still got the start-up problem...screwed..

every morning i got to kick kick at least 9-10 times...

 

guess its really the engine not warmed up enough..

For the coolant u can use MAXIMA anti-frezee coolant.. very good, but the coolant comes wif the bike is very good already cos we are in singapore very hot, no need so gd or expensive one..

 

if u die die wanna flush ur coolant can get yamaha coolant cheap n gd.

 

 

as for ur bike dying, could be ur biting point, or ur clucth set too near... try checkin ur clutch..some times clucth plate worn out also like dat...

 

or carb dirty or spark plug.. it all depends, but first try checkin ur clucth setting whether the biting point is to near dat could be the cause..

another brand of good coolent think is the red line water wetter if i dun remember wrongly...

 

i think it should only be the cluth cable as yamaha have this prob bout cable easily extend thus need to check freq

i think most of us the bike by right should be pretty new ma shouldnt have this type of probs unless no proper warm up of bike in the mornin or proper run in...

mayb u guys can try using the FP60 if wat skazuz said wasnt the cause

mayb can help clean up abit as last time my wave was a 2nd hand pretty bad state for engine wise but miracle dat the FP60 really improve the condition...

Possible is the idling too low.. can try set higher abit... :smile:

thxs for the hellp guy..appreciate it...but even when im at neutral while warming up..i tried open trottle...when i suddenly open the bike dies off...is it because i nvr warm up or the idling speed?

anyway whats FP60?

FP60 is some cleaning element to clean the engine internally

everytime u pump the petrol jus pour 1.5ml to 1L ratio if i dun remember wrongly

haha i think more infomations can be retrieve from accessories gadgets and products

think last time i view there wan ba...

Hey guys, I've got one YSS and two Gazi rear shocks for sale. For Spark 135. Excellent top-quality shocks. Selling cheap.

ok...due too the good response. i have decided to go ahead and bring in more cdis. but sadly this time the cdis are more ex.i trying to get a better price from supplier b4 sending in. dont worry its in the midst already.. it should be 115sgd but bcoz Rp went strong.. it went up a few more dollars.. i am trying to push the price to at least 110sgd. its abt 13 bux more for the shipping la. i hope its still reasonable.. coz this time i asking them to ship in. i not going in la... gotta tend to my work oso mah haha pls give comments on price. good or bad i don care..

when warmming up the bike and u suddenly pump the throttle abit... yr engine dies...

 

warm up slightly longer... and be more relac on yr throttle if u scared engine die in middle of rd my suggestion is b4 open throttle to move off... step on gear lever to engage abit of 'clutch play' tarek abit of throttle and move off...just like ssdc...

Guys, need your help for some info. Intend to go shopping for this bike tommorow. Tried to surf this site but it's just loading too slow.

 

1. What's the diff between auto and clutch model in terms of price and performance?

2. Is the Spark 135 made in Thailand or Philipines?

3. Where to find the best deal for this bike now?

4. What exactly are the different variations of the Spark 135?

5. Any difference bewteen agent and PI model?

6. For performance and value which do you recommend?

thxs..i guess so its the warm up thing...cos i increase my idling speed yesterday..its still dies off...so must warm up longgerrr....

 

 

maybe once in a while when stopping shud rev the engine abit2...

 

shud have met u yest to collect cdi..was at yishun dam,..hehe..

here what i know..if it helps..

 

1) price and performance should be around the same...

2)shud be in Thailand cos got thai wordings..no signs of philipine words...haha

3)best deal..not sure.

4)hmm...RR is the clutch one RX is the auto one..the colour tones of the bike also maybe can tell parrarel import or agent bike..

5)agent got warranty from hong leong..PI only from shop....agent fot sports rim yamaha original ones...PI got spokes or racing boy sports rim..

6)im not sure how to ans this one..

For ur info the bike was design in japan but was first built in indonesia

the orginal name was know as Jupiter MX135LC and was offically launch in Indonesia on 18 Sept 2005

need help, i cant find the A/F mixture screw of the spark..i only found the idle screw..the A/f mixture screw is not in the manual..

look at the left side of the bike, got one small hole to access the idle and air screw, the wires and cables might intefere with your view, shove it aside a bit . Its side-by-side, the left screw is the air screw and the right one is the idle screw.

thanks..i was confused because there are three flat screws there..1 is the idle, then the one in the hole beside it and there's also 1 in the other side..:smile:
