yup...maybe if u ride in d 80s or early 90s, LTA approve d half cap.. but time change buddy..

 

it's probably more like there was not so much emphasis on safety gear for riders then...

cos also not riding cruiser, somemore, the wind blow until my eye bth, then eye also like always gena sand, damn troublesome...

i have that $25 halfcap from regina.. it looks cool, i took out the visor, and wear my own sunglasses. its a must to wear sunglasses if u wanna use half cap as like wat lunloon said your eye will tears.

but scary at times.. so i only use it for short outtings etc..

The key is to remain confident...

 

I was at a traffic light near Sin Ming there....then ROV stop right beside me on the other lane...

 

Kept my cool....the light turn green......he moved off slowly and turn right where i went straight....

 

 

Another case, i was wearing half cap again....my pillion wearing PSB approved with tinted visor....

 

Kena stop for my pillion visor of all things...

Anyway won't be half capping or riding without visor for long already, my new ride got windshield. heee. Old ride up for sale. S-I-G-H.

Yamaha TDM 900. Just did 180-190km/h. Smooooth. And it wasn't full throttle and wearing open face (cannonball no visor). No need to hidden tiger crouching dragon or hidden dragon crouching tiger either. Yippee!!!

haha..Thanks. But I don't travel that fast. Just nice to know you have that extra oomph when you need it. Anyway I do 120-140 ok with my half cab and my cannonball open face. Just that when it rains it's a beech.

Hello,

Just to come back to question on half cap helmet. I bought two different ones on ebay and both are top class, 140km without problem in cruiser position, very comfortable on the head. One is called brain cap, website: http://www.louis.de and on ebay the seller is called hd-deal from Germany. (See photo black helmet). 2nd one is half leather ball of high quality supplied with goggles, different colour available, from ebay, china supplier called kangxinyard.
