Aku punya motor pun dah back to square one. Idling erratic and setiap kali berhenti kat traffic lights mesti mati. Pick up pun dah lemau. Aku dah nak kena hantar bike for inspection by 6th October tapi dia buat hal pulak. Swek betul...

erratic idling? meaning peaks and lows of idling varies greatly?hmm.. i'm not sure if Fuel injected engines need to be synchronised like carburettors but it somewhat is in that direction if i am rite. also check ur throttle bodies are fitted properly, sometimes these things happen due to leaking rubber boots(the rubber connecting ur engine to ur throttle bodies)... check no cracks in the rubber.. air filter, u can also check ur ignition system, ie: ignition coils.

Apa yang kau cakap ni semua, ehem, is like rocket science to me. I've never checked my bike internally or mechanically cos phobia takut seperti tikus membaiki labu nanti. Skrg tengah buntu otak. Anyone can recommend me a mechanic that is an expert at repairing R1 EFI bikes???

ko da check ko-nya battery tak ? Mungkin battery takde trus ke.. tek tek tek takda bunyi ... Atau ko da try masokkan kunci dan switch on the ignition ? Atau mungkin Moto merajok kot..

trust me, its not rocket science yet till u learn thermodynamics. haha.. that will drive u crazy to learn how to calculate airflow, gasflow, liquidflow in engines.. how different surfaces create a certain flow in the ports of ur intake and exhaust ports. wat kind of flow is desirable in ur intake ports and wat sort of flow u'd want for ur exhaust.. i learn all this in school, but yet i cant even start to calculate anything for the very bike i'm riding.. not even my wave. boleh jadi giler.. and it is very disturbing to know that only less than 20% of the fuel we burn becomes the usable power that makes our bikes/cars move. the rest is wasted as heat. dats painful. k la.. as dol and i would recommend, go to looi's motor and get MengTong to do ur bike for u.. he's quite well-known to save money for bikers.

another advice, please call and book for his service. if you just walk-in with your bike, you might get disappointed coz the chances of your bike getting repaired is very slim.

 

for Abg Pakcik Aie's case, it mite take sometime for MT to rectify the problem

 

p/s: not quite sure abt Yamaha bikes, cuma setahu aku MT is well-versed with Suzuki's bike.

Itu yang aku dengar jugak. From what I know Meng Tong is an expert with Suzuki bikes. Lain perkara yang aku dengar is that Loois mechanics ni particular sikit nak repair or service bikes that are not bought from them. Kalau dorang nak buat pun, they will charge more for their services...

not really la....what you need is some recommendations from those regular go-ers (mcm Wak Dol) then that'll be OK.

 

coz aku pun tak beli motor aku dari dorang. cuma bila ader member yang rekomen aku dgn dia, dia dyno-run motor aku swee-swee
