on Average consumption is about 14KM/Litre. Can cruise at 130KM/H no problem. Top speed varies... Mine now can go 160KM/H and incline abit more but slowly...

driven KIA Picanto for 3 months. FC is quite bad for 1.1L manual car even I accelerate slowly. 11-13KM/L.

Rented FIAT Punto and the FC is 17.5KM/L. it's 1.4L celestial transmission car.

hehe.. choose wisely.

I get around 16km/litre fully occupied with passengers and 18~19km/litre alone/extra passenger.

i'm thinking of getting this car soon. A manual model though.

Saw some reviews that the 13" stock rim is really too small for it. many recommend 14" or 15" though

14 inch would be better I guess since the main objective is to have a budget transport.. 15inch tyres cost a lot more and FC will prob increase also..

yeap. read up at the kia forum. 14" is good enough just for better FC. 15" the FC wont be as good. but will have a more stable ride though

Saw on their latest pricelist this weekend got additional $1000 off. :bouncefire:

seems like i'm not fated to get a picanto. when the coe dropped to $12.5k the previous round, they didn't lower the price. so i bought the sirion instead. now coe is upped to $13.3k, they lower by $1k.

But I think that the Sirion is a nicer car than the Picanto!

sirion has better specs but is costlier. had wanted to limit to sub-$40k car and the picanto seems like the best choice. the current price is right for the present coe value. it was rather overpriced earlier at 36,999.

you can try going into malaysia. they got all kinds of naza suria bodykit which will be able to fit into a picanto. in short naza suria is the malaysia version of picanto.

I think only the older Picanto uses 13inch.. The newer FL models come with 14inch rims and Jap tyres..

Yea, after seeing the price i'm actually struggling with these 2. Well at least rio has a decent sedan looking. Wider and more spaces. But other than the size n the engine cc. Is there other factor that picanto has compare Rio?

Oh ya, is Kia a stable car?

my MT average 17km/l, better consumption den my old bike

1 Full tank can hit 500-550km, NSH can cruise 160kmh no problem, very stable.

only 1 thing as this is small car/ light, during rainy weather must be very careful (touch wood)
