hi bros & sis any1 know u how much pressure to pump for wave using dunlop tt900 front: 80/80-17 rear: 80/90-17? i ask bike shop mechanic he told me pump 250 can liao... thanks

250?? i feel that is too high pressure for Wave tyres la...i always pump 225 front, 235 rear tyre. pump too hard also not advisable i think...comments anyone?:dot:

Any pressure that can maintain the tire profile when u r riding. I personally pump 225 front and rear. But the TT900 doesnt state any maximum pressure on the tire walls.

if u guys jus for transport can pump 200+ if u guys wanna plae on n off pump lower.. =)

 

my 125z i pump 170,180.. nice to corner.. hahas... but dun haf tat great fuel economy..

sorry ah but can enquire further...

im riding spark 135, with TT900 tyres...

used to pump front tyre 80/80 at 200psi, rear 80/90 at 230psi...

skali one time my rear tyre developed a 'bulge' on one side...causing me to replace the brand new rear tyre...

so any advice how to avoid tt next time from happening?

:eek: Huh ! You really pump 200psi !!!! into your tire?

40psi oridi wan to explode, no wonder your tire damage.

got two units for air one is psi the other is i forgot wat but its the unit tt is used at esso n mobil, but there oso got the button to change the unit of measure ment to psi one. for shell i not sure, think its only psi

 

for me i pump 230 rear 215 frt. mebe will pump 240 n 220 next time

mine needs to pump every 2 days, cos after 2 days will leak to 170 plus

the tire never kanna any nail or watever

very tiring need to always go pump air

i using spark original sports rim, irc

both tyre 70/80...

i pump front 230,back 240...

i had problems with my TT900 before also. tyre bulged.

 

as far as i know , tyres that are bulged or deformed results from improper maintenance of tyres . In other words , you never made sure often enough that you have enough/correct pressure ... and over time , the tyre loses its pressure and falls below the recommended lowest pressure for the tyre , the problem arises if you ride for weeks or even months on these tyres ... thats why it is deformed . I used to get deformed tyres in the past (especially the back) , but once i made sure once a week that i have the correct amount of pressure in my tyres , they never deform or like you say , bulge . hope it helps

At the tayar there it put 250 front 225 rear.

haha....maebe infront tyre is more meant for POP/Wheelie....

more impact so more pressure...
