I wonder if i can use the same headlight on my s4 and just use the baja head crowling put over it. Both are round anyway.

i tink the bajaj pulsar head cowling is the most distinctive feature on the pulsar. in my opinion, it wads seperate the pulsar from any other naked bikes out now in the sg street.

 

my own preference would be to keep the head cowling and do some cosmetic changes to my pulsar...

 

ideas iam thinking of: 1. carbon fibre the pipe 2. change the seat cover 3. colour the rims.

 

just to name a few lah

the last pic.. is dat pulsar 180?? the tail very sporty lah... very the s4 influence... didnt notice it at 1st... and the 250 model reminds me of the sting ray fish when looked from the side... hahahah

 

and pulsar 180 have down sides...

 

opening the seat to me is a great pain. 1st i have to remove the side panel den pull on the cable and whack the seat to pop it out.

 

and the pulsar 180 is solely design for indian roads.. sg roads are many times less brutal then their roads... so the bike is design not for top speed.(mayb not a downside if u r not a speed demon)

 

mayb its becos iam 110kg and this is my 1st bike and experience... when i try to bring my bike to 100km/h @ 9000rpm the engine screams. any more and it will redline.

 

but overall. its a great commuter bike for guys like me going to and from work.

yea lor, me now looking for a cheap place to change my seat cover. and yes our black rims is too blank.. i did col;oring the names writtenon our tyre to stand out the tyre so next will be the rim. i might remove the name on the tank as in respray and paste a sticker that i design with the Bajaj Pulsar name on it.. but now looking for a place that can do the minor respray on my tank.

i dun think can fit bro.. maybe u can try check it out, and bring your bike along. if can fit good lah if cannot, add more cash and change it.

 

anyway u planning to seel your s4 headlight? how much?

there's a shop along desker road which re-wraps seats. it's by far the cheapest i've come across. the uncle is also pretty skillful.

he charged me $15 to rewrap my virago's seat. Colours are pretty standard. Am not sure abt multiple colours.

 

For comparison, the shop next to Ah Boy wanted to charge me $25.

 

I don't know what the shop's name, or address, is. It's near mustafa centre, at the junciton between desker and the other road.

Bro, i jus came back from that shop u told me, the one at desker road. the uncle charge me 25 buckz for one color and $35 for two colors..

I got a rather high quote for a brand new pulsar for TPFT.. its even more costy than my current superfour!
