cant really compare cos of the classes 2b, 2a, 2. example:..class 2 bikes are faster. they tend to have a lower speed compared with wave meter.

Topic : X-1 Speedometer Accuracy

Description : Nil

********************************************************************

Hi guys,

I'm planning to buy X-1 bike and i've heard from other thread that X-1 can reach up to 140 kph (speed registered). I just want to know how accurate it is? It is true that 110cc bike can reach 140 kph?

Thanks

unless u weight ard 50KG

keep everything in stock condition (no rear box, original spoke rims, original thin tyres, etc)

else i tink its quite hard to get that kind of speed on an even road

1st day, rider + pillion = about 110kg, stock bike registered at 140km/h. :cheeky:

I tried pacing it with BMW 650 and Varadero 1000 both shows -10km.h

U tried with what bike?

I think -10kph is reality. because here in the philippines x-1 can beat a suzuki raider 125 in long strech but the distance between them is not that far. raider 125 average top speed is approximately 125kph on straight road. if x-1 can hit 130 kph (the correct one) then it can definitely beat the raider 125.

if you care to know, the error is not linear. i benchmarked my ride against a gps.

of cos my meter is analog so also got human parallex par jiao and time spatial error. somemore i did not mount the gps but put in pocket. single hand on handle bar and other hand take out gps to view. my benchmark probably not accurate at high speed since my balls a bit small. dun dare to benchmark too long.
