Failed man. Haha my engine went neutral when I kicked up during crank course. Didn't know until I tried to throttle. Wasted speed and time so couldn't go through in 6sec.

Congrats Lee88 on your tp.

tora74, both bbdc and ssdc will be way less crowded than cdc. CDC is a pain just to turn out from bike nursery to courses.

SSDC does provide gear for your lessons but I would recommend to grab your own gear instead.

Thank you Simeone82. =) Aiming for Honda CB190R.

Well... if you need it, that item you can make purchase @ the staff counter level 3 (where you 1st time enroll the course). :)

hey guys, I am taking 2b at SSDC. Can book TP already, earliest I checkd was 13th Nov which is on Monday but then I'm a PNSF, going pop on 27th and my block leave is on 28oct-6 nov. So 7th onwards I start my vocation life already(most probably transcom), so anyone can help me out? How to attend TP? Can be excused for half day or have to apply for leave? Kinda confused. Going ask my CM later when I book in. If anyone have knowledge pls help out.

U can buy the knee guards and elbow guards at helmet boys at woodlands. bring your ssdc student book there is some package for new riders which is cheaper.:)

Hi sweelina it been a long while and I guess you had graduated from SSDC.

furyx I suggest you not booking the TP first, I had some friends booked TP first and in the end leave not granted....but his case is in Army nsf. one whole day leave is required if you pass.

Went for Lesson 1 earlier in the morning. So much wobble. Haha. Hopefully next lesson can go out to the outer circuit.

I took more than 10 times to pass my lesson 1 as I am bad in my braking. tends to press the front brake too hard. Jiayou!

Managed to pass Lesson 1 on my 2nd try! Wasn't expecting to as my going into the turns at the outer circuit needed work (always brake too early and needing to give it a little throttle to make it around the corner). On to lesson 2, narrow plank here I come! One full week later though.

Went for my 2nd L5 road lesson today morning, after 3 weeks no touch bike due to flu & busy work schedule.

Tried to book RC but can't get any slot before today that fit my schedule, so bo bian... cheong arh!!

Instructors make us do some U-turn practices in circuit 1st b4 going out which I still have problem if turning from stationary. Then it's time to "hit the road"!!

Did a few mistakes :slapforehead: and failed this time round.

Next lesson booked, with CR before L5.

I agreed with CL2B that he is patient to explain but he didn't passed me. Personally I feel this guy called Lee MH is very helpful to me. I am still stuck at SSDC now due to on and off busy with work.. Trying my best to get my license hopefully by Feb next year.

Mr Hazli... To those who get him for practical lesson, good luck to u. Unreasonable & lazy instructor. Will probably fail you unless you really kilat. Every time I in his lesson, he always give the same comment for everyone. Either wide U turn or bad lane changing. Sure, he gives encouraging words to boost your morale, but after going through countless of lessons in SSDC, other instructors are much better in terms of feedback given & effort put in.

So sorry I had to rant, I just had so much bad experience with this guy. Felt that if people compliment him, he should be complained about as well.

I think my 1st lesson 5 also fail by the same instructor Mr. Hazli. But that time got to admit my U-turn is not stable. Then same comment saying Uturn bad and bad lane changing.

Somehow I felt the strict one tend to pass you easier and those you felt lenient turn out to fail you.

But just do your best for your lessons.

Hmm lesson 2 is plank and pylon slalom right?

One thing is practice makes perfect. At the beginning these 2 obstacles will feel tough, but once you get the hang of it, you'll be cruising on the plank.

The more nervous you are, the more shaky your bike will be, then it'll drop. Oh and grip the tank, it really helps in riding.

Don't give up, I'm one of those who repeats a lot for lessons. Only lessons 4 and 6 I cleared in one try.

any tips on prac 3 part 2 ? Thanks !

Honestly bro, just show u confident in front of them can already. I was abit shaky in the first hour but after a few rounds in the circuit, you'll get the hang of it! I dont know how i did it but i did it at 1 go on tuesday haha the instructor told us on the last round in the circuit that he wanted to see improvement so i guess i did improve on that lesson itself. Just show you can do it can liao! All the best!!

Lesson 3 part 2 is all about test route but different instructors have different expectation.

I read some "hollanded" during their assessment round and thus fail the lesson.

My time when doing, the instructor failed someone who drops plank and ask him to repeat..

So do your best for your circuit courses and don't do silly mistakes like never stop at stop line etc.

Go and do one Road Revison before Lesson 07. Would be very helpful.

Just relax and treat it like a normal lesson. The more nervous you are, the more likely you will cock up.

thanks bro!

finally cleared lesson 7 TP on dec 19
