I'm a ex Gilera 200VXR owner, do have the same problem.

Have been in & out of Piaggio service centre as least twice for the same problem! SC Supervisor told me it could be due to water get into petrol tank thru fuel cap at first, but I told him my bike is never ride in the rain & always parked indoor. The second time around he said that the petrol in the fuel tank could be spoiled b'cos I seldom ride my bike???

The third time when it happen again, I send it to ASphoon workshop at Ubi.

That guy just adjust my idling speed to normal, in less than a minute for free!

Since then, my bike never stall anymore...

the default idling is like 0.5...

water pump....................... can this b e problem?

when water pump breaks down, ur coolant will be stagnant. so over heating will be an issue and u will start to hear weird noise from the right side of ur engine. ur coolant may oso leak out. replace it as soon if its waterpump issue. not so cheap tho.

Air bullet filter may look cool & stylo as it look like a second exaust pipe, but performance wise i give it a thumbs down as the air flow is not consistance, u will need to do the setting every now & then after u fix it.

Ever heard of a flying air bullet filter on the road? Some of the old chaps here know what i'm talking about if they read this thread ;)

Hi guys, my battery just died on me, lucky i was pretty near my house and I would like to buy a new battery to replace it myself, anybody knows whats the model number of the battery or the ampere ratings?

Wanted to find out as I believe the battery I had wasnt a good one. its some lousy china battery which dies out on me after few months of usage.

Thanks and thanks again!

The battery model should be YTX12-BS. Better get a Yuasa Japan made for a longer usage.

My 2 cents...
