lol... I posted the directions in the SIM thread before. Just a few pages away nia. you might want to surf thru.

Directions to Yew Meng Eating house, Kulai

From GP Petronas go straight on NSH towards KL

Pass 1 toll booth, Go past the left filter to Senai airport

Filter left into Kulai, Go pass 2nd toll booth

Go straight till the end when you hit T-junction then turn right

Go past 1 traffic light, keep right.

Turn right at the junction just before the "FALKEN" building.

Go past hump and turn right.

Yew Meng should be just in front of you.

Getting to the town of Northern Kulai from 2nd link:

 

[1] Exit yourself from the Malaysian customs.

The road you're on is called the the Linkedua Expressway (Translated: 2nd link Exp'wy).

 

[2] Go past (or pump petrol at) Gelang Patah petrol kiosks. Continue on straight.

 

[3] After traveling some long distance, you have to filter left to where the sign says "Kuala Lumpur/Melaka". That's the North South Expressway (NSE).

 

[4] Travel some distance on the NSE until you see a signboard that says "Kulai". Exit from there.

 

[5] Go past the toll booths using the motorcycle lane. Travel straight on the 2 lane bumpy road until you reach a T-junction.

 

[6] Turn right at the T-junction.

 

[7] To head to that dim sum restaurant, Encik Pat has said:

 

go straight pass 1 traffic light ... a bit feather u can see

a SHELL petrol station on the left ,, than turn right on the side road

 

I agree...it's quite "feather"...it's easy to miss the turn-in into the restaurant

start GP ESSo travel 24.4km turn left

go straight travel 8.1km turn left to kulai exit

go straight travel 4.5km turn right at tee junction

go straight SHELL petrol station on left travel 1.8km turn right

Oh, I was just told by a friend that going back can be quite tricky as it is very easy to miss the turn when going back the same way.... is there any landmarks to look for when going back?

After kulai toll, you will pass by a very big "foodcourt" on your left, the road onwards will be very bumpy. Quite a few BIG potholes, so becareful.

 

After you turn right at the T junction, go all the way down til you see the petrol station.

 

Petrol station on your left and you will pass by the 7-11 on your right.

Turn right up a small but steep slope.

encik, this is the shop i will be going... only know this shop cuz that's the shop I went to during my first kulai trip some time back... but that time i was just following my friend, so I don't really remember the way...hehe....
