Hi ppl,

I have some questions to clarify

Can a Police car stop you on the road for travelling at 100km/hr on a 60km/hr road?

Do the Police has a radar mounted on their car?

If TP/ Polica is to summon you, do they have to stop your vehicle first?

If kenna summon, how many working days then will know the "results"?

0_0 do u happen to live in Kazasthan? Cause i heard from Borat that you dont get pulled over there.

NAH im just messing with ya. They will pull you over. Once u see the red and blue flashing u better signal left and slow down and stop. Cause if you dont.. its another offence.. :)

Yeah lah. exactly. Haha.

I think d police shud stop all those speeding people wherever they see them. Dont give chance. Its coz of these ppl who cant stop on time, that causes many accidents!.

Then if see police car speedin but never on blinker or siren can complain to their department/branch about it? :cheeky:

You follow the speed limit also if car jam brake you can stop in time? No accidents? Vehicles change lane abruptly w/out signallin also won't cause many accidents? :cheeky:

Why must they on blinker/siren when they r speeding? I prefer it if they dont, coz dat way, many ppl cant see police car coming and more speedsters can get caught.. coz wen police car comes with siren/blinker, many clowns act innocent by slowing down their vehicles.

There are many possibilities for an accident to occur.. Speeding is just one of d causes dat i mentioned.. Im not free to list all d possibilities..

oFCOZ like u said, car jam brake, vehicles change lane abruptly can cause accidents too.. just like dat.. speeding and not being able to stop on time aso can cause accident.

U cant expect me to list all d reasons for accidents to occur can u?? :S

They turn on the blinkers and sirens because they want other bystanders to siam from them while they chase a particular target.

When they are already speeding with a blinker on, they already know who they are chasing.

To be honest, and I'm gonna be brutal about it, its people with opinions like yours that give civic-minded people in uniforms a hard time to carry out their work.

I've ever had complaints against my fire station back in my NS days that my fire pumpers and ambulances were making too much noise and attention when they responded to emergency cases with blinkers and sirens on.

These from rich people who stay next to my station and don't understand that Simei Ave is a pretty congested road with trucks, trailers and cars heading for the PIE ramp.

I was wondering at that time that should I respond with no blinkers and sirens and let other vehicles clog up that same road when these very same people have a medical emergency or fire situation and requiring our help.

Think about it....

Singaporeans mah... do good, must complain, do bad must complain, don't do anything also must complain. Nothing can please them so I already stopped giving a d@mn about how these ppl think.

Anyway, my opinion is that if a normal police patrol car stopped me to say I am speeding, it will be easy to appeal cuz they don't have those speed detector, they can't say wat speed I was travelling at, that means no proof...

I'm not saying that they cannot stop me. I'm trying to say that it will be difficult for them to prove... They can't say whether I'm speeding between 0-10km/h, 10-20km/h, or about 50km/h simply because they don't have speed detector?

Well, I might be wrong. Correct me then. :thumb:

whatever it is, its best to abide by the rules. But if any case as MOST of us do , when we break some rules make sure you dont get caught. Also when things happen dont cry and ***** and moan cause when u break the rules , be prepared to face consequences.

thats where you are wrong bro, normal police patrol car have camera in their cars that can be used to check the speed you are on by viewing it thru a special room in the TP department, the camera can zoom in and out also.

and do you happen to know that normal police patrol cars are also sometimes equipped with speed detector equipment?

you can argue with police but if kenna those really wanna get you want, then thats it man,

hope that clears u up....:cheeky:

u dont need to hv a speed detector to know what speed u r traveling. as long the car just follow u from behind at a constant distance, by looking at his own speedometer, he willl know what speed u r running, dude.

u can deny u r speeding then. well, convince the judge lor. see the judge believe u or the police.
