So for the first time, Four English Clubs in the Quarters, namely, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United, one Spanish in Barcelona, German Shalke 04, Serie A AS Roma & Turkish delight in Fernabache complete the line-ups for the Quarters...Tantilising dont they???? I bite my fingers looking at the Clubs here..........

Which Club do you think, will rise to its occassion & become the KING Of Europe 2008....

Would they be a ALL ENGLISH EUROPEAN CUP FINALS??? or a shocker come May 2008????

 

Arsenal look good when booting out AC Milan....Liverpool soaked its luck with two dubious redcards over two leg against Inter, Man U beat Lyon with Ronaldo's quick feet @ Old Trafford & Chelsea send the Greek gods Olympiakos home with a 3-0 win at Stamford Bridge. So much for the grim looking Grant(no puns intended.)!

Roma roam around Real Madrid & send them writting in pain with agg 4-2 over the Spanish League leaders. Fernabache & Shalke kept their wobbly penalty nerves & won! Barcelona with Messi, Henry & Eto, to name a few stars in their ranks, they are a feared strikefore all over Europe.

So, which Club would grace MOSCOW's Champions League Finals 2008?

Dun understand why both red cards are dubious.

 

1st leg, Materazzi insists on trying to unsuccessfully clamp down on the TerminaTorr and ends up doing a bad job. 2 yellow tackles, 1 red card.

Torres didn't even complain about being unfairly shackled and tackled. Just gets up and gets on with the game. Unlike a certain other winger in another red jersey.

 

2nd leg, a high-tackle on Lucas is acceptable? Don't deserve a yellow card?

 

Neways, Inter had plenty of chances to equalize the aggregrate and even take the lead but threw it all away. The TerminaTorr had one 1/2 chance from outside the box, took it well and scored the winner.

Game over, Reds go through.

 

As Football365 posted, they played the classic European game: attacked and win at home, disciplined defending when away and get qualification through.

im with barca but dont think that they will win it this year

too reliable on messi for goals.

the attackers cant score regularly

the goals come from the midfield nowadays haih xavi

 

eventhough i dont like english teams,

my bet will go to man u vs liverpool

they're strong

2 battling midfield-generals (Gerrard and Fabregas) & 2 free-scoring strikers (Adebayor and the TerminaTorr) up against each other.

Plus Wenger's strategic genius against Rafa's European prowess.

Ought to be an interesting match.

England big 4 all into CL Quarter Finals but no more english representative in the UEFA Cup.

maybe tt explains the gap between the big 4 against the rest of the teams in EPL.
