Right at front btm. I think its call tank cap ba.. I was adviced by my collague just now as he a scooter rider, he told me rain/water can go into fuel tank easily for new scooter. Adviced me to get a protector for it. I dunno what is it actually. If it's just a sticker, how can it protect my fuel tank from intruded by water?

not protect. prevent, or in another word, reduce. in any event, nothing in this world is perfect enough to protect anything - yet.

 

anyway, it is just a sticker form. in layman term, it is used to make de tank cover look more pretty. in de technical term, it is suppose to prevent any corrosion should ur tank cap area comes in contact w de kerosene.

 

all these is a 'heard' only i must state.

if kerosene is ok, if water go in den jia lat d. Cuz my previous SP, water sure go in when heavy rain cuz i nvr cover it. Maybe not much but can feel when riding is like choking cuz water in fuel even though spark plug is dry.

Then there r specific cap protector for diff model rite?

i believe ur collegue is riding a 08 onward runner. that not sticker..it a cloth cover tat is glue/staple to the runner fairing.

 

cos 08 model runner is prone to have water slip into the tank

ya.. experience sia.. but his one is old model. I dunno whehter b-bone got the cover or not.. customize will be more expensive right?

it used to be expensive for the runners,but after some shops mass production it has become cheaper.think is around 30 including workmanship
