Confirm it's Eldo, I can recognize his tummy anywhere. Wait for him to come back and tell story. This morning when I rode up, a lot of amateur drivers hogging the right lane, a few SG cars swerving left and right, like 1s time driving up.

KKZ, I'm in KL now, come back I post some pix.

raptor, thought of selling the pipe:confused:

Nope, selling the bike off as is with all the accessories and original stuff and fairings to the new owner. The original fairings are already worth a few thousand, not to count the Sebimoto race fairing, Valtermoto rearsets, Brembo master pump, Kometic high comp gasket, velocity stacks, race filters, carbon fibre front fender, carbon fibre crank case protectors.

Bike was recently top overhauled with new valves, cam chain and Dynotuned by Meng Tong with HRC software.

Asking for $17k...

Someone mentioned my name?

Yup it was me allright

I was the 2nd rider who came at the accident scene just when it happened

We just left Semanggul Esso station after topping up fuel and rest

Left at 6am exactly and just 7.8km after we move off KABOOM!!!

3 bikes lying on the tarmac

At first sight I thought that it was a car's bumper which is on my right

Thought it was a car that just had an accident

Another look again I saw the three bike lying on the tarmac :giddy:

That is when I realise it was the guys who were with us in this trip

According to the rider who witnessed the accident, it was the white ST who lost control of his bike

He hit a bump & tried to avoid the lorry who was trying to take the right lane

He lost control and grazed his way along with his pillion on to the concrete wall

The FJR rider and another Maroon ST came crashing to his bike

When I came it was all smoke and dust all over and visibility is poor had to get a closer look to realise wat was happening

Total injured 4

Total deceased 1

We were all saddened by this and shocked to see what happened

Most of us were experienced riders all riding class 2 bikes

What make this even worse is that we were accused of failing to facilitate the deceased and the husband

The group had to split to settle other issues separately

The group photo is proof that we were in the Hospital Parit Buntar at Ipoh

We were all there waiting for news and try to do what we can and help the injured

On top of that we already had settled the towing for all three bikes which were totally burnt

Called the couple's insurance company and all the relative of all the injured personnel

On this note I wish to thank all to those who have helped

Especially our Malaysian counterpart who have helped a lot

Brightwill motor in Butterworth (subsidary of De Xing Motor) who help tow the black fireblade and chnged the tyre

Teo Spray Painting (organiser) who paid for the expenses needed

All others who have helped in any way :thumb:

So it wasn't a punctured tyre as reported by the other thread, but the ST had hit a bump while avoiding a lorry and lost control.

Lorries always swerve out without warning. When approaching one, I would slow down, or if I see 2 of them close together, I know the one from behind will want to overtake the one in front.

Always anticipate and slow down, that's why I am always afraid of Beagle following me from behind. He always stay so close to me, as if I will leave him behind and then he'll end up losing his way home.

I'm sure like any good biker, you've done your part to help. :thumb:

Why don't you spend a bit of money to upgrade your TV so you can enjoy many channels, don't have to play with handphone.
