any experience rider here knows the market price range for new yoshi exhaust??? fit 04-07. gp force model.
asked motoworld b4....... retail price is $980 including installation..... But can get for $850 including installation.......

Nowadays the street legal exhuasts all round this kind of pricing..... Slips on already almost $1k....... Unless u go for illegal exhausts....

illegal exhausts is the way to go....

stub a silencer into a street legal pipe might as well use original pipe.

or pluck out tat toopid silencer.

Tashi.... Did u ride past Arab street that day?? Saw a Red 08 with pillion, a orange ZX 10 R (If I didn't see wrongly) and a Repsol ( should be 07) riding past Arab Street that day.........

 

Yeah, it was us. It was indeed an orane ZX10R, 07 Repsol is Rstopel. Went there for nasi padang before going to SG flyer. Where were you? You should've waved at us, haha.

Aww man, Ann was laughing hard. Don't show this to Max or Shirley, they will make fun of me & all things Honda, haha. :cheeky:

 

 

Any RR8 owners had the clutch fixed yet? Any comments? Mine is going in tomorrow.

 

Read that some mechs left out the judder spring and the clutch was slipping.

 

Just spoke to Toh, he said no oil change required. After the change, they will need to test the bike as well. If anyone needs to ride the bike, make sure Wilson is the one.

I was at that cafeleclaire...... at the end of arab street.... By the time i realised that it might be u, u guys already rode past mi...... I was standing by the road side smemre..... trying to reserve the lot for my friend's car....... :angel:

so who is offering the 850 deal? looking for a aftermarket exhaust.

Accident have no tell tales sign. It take a second to kill but a lifetime to prevent.

Sure, I arrived at BS at 8:20am, service counter was already open, but mechs come in at 9am, so I had to wait a bit. I didn't mind, I wanted to be the 1st in queue, otherwise have to wait long long.

 

Service was surprisingly good. I was asked if I have any preferred mechs I wanted to do the job, so I said I wanted either Wilson or Bak, because they know how to take care of my bike. Prior to mine, they had already done 13 RR8 clutch changes, so they are pretty good by now.

 

But I already have a reputation of high standards, so when these guys tended to me, I can say I'm pretty happy. They way they handled my bike, how they carefully clean out the old rubber seal ... excellent job.

 

The job completed just before 12pm, in time for lunch. Toh even told me about the feedback he got from other Bladers who have changed the clutch, that I should expect a different feel.

 

No complaints about customer service actually. Mid way through the change, a bunch of school kids came, must be some excursion, they came and take pix of my bike, they said my bike very clean and shiny. Hear already also happy, lol. :cheeky:

 

Now the gear shifting seems easier, deceleration is smoother, the clutch lever biting point seems to have shifted further out though.

 

Down shifting at high speeds, still have that engagement delay sometimes. Do you guys experience this?
