i have replied a lot of pm's so now im having PMS. to Clear things up, here's a short summary of what i know about spec 3 tail for non-vtec3

1)A few shops here do it, namely: motoworld, firstmotor, hua hin (the one at bukit batok, im not sure if i got the correct name) and aunty shop at lavendar

2)All use moulded tails, except for aunty shop.

3)I did mine at motoworld for SGD500.00, b4 bargaining. im not sure of the break down of the prices, but it includes the moulded tail, rear led brake lights, rear fender and labour.

4)Took HALF a day to complete the job, they started at 1030 and finished at 3 plus on a busy sat morning.

5)process, they will strip the rear until the rear sub-frame is exposed, then they will shave the sides, used to prop up the stock vtec1,2 tail. the parts shaved off from what i see was minimal and looked non-vital, so strength of sub-frame and blah blah blah is not affected. cornering is still the same.

Then they will fit the tail, add in the tail light, connect the circuits and fix the rear fender.

6)So where is the key hole?? shinhwa's is still using the original, while mine is under the seat. depends where u want it.

7)There is a clear led light and the stock red one. both perform its function

lastly, im aware that other than shinhwa and myself, there are a couple of spec3 tail converters out there, so pls share some input for the benefit of other modsters.

cheers:cheers:

I plan to modify my s4 tail and respray at Motorworld nxt week, they cost me $450 and $400 two diff price, $400 one is follow original model spec3 tail, $450 one will slightly diff for the number plate there, which the motorworld workshop ppl told me, more nicer than original de.. What is your opinion and advice, if i go motorworld modify?

Owner : Errr, anything wrong...??

Me: Oh... No, actually my frd told me that the tank of both bike is different, so i am comparing with yours.
