Been scouring through the S4 threads but don't know how this mod gonna fit into any of the threads.

Anyone knows how the owner modified the front forks to USD/inverted forks?

Or is the owner in this forum?

Hmm. For the usd forks, it could be from a ducati monster 400. I have ever thought of doing this, but too many factors involved, thus. Alot of money needed.

Some of the Things that u have to think about is the fork diameters, height, brackets for brake calipers, wheels (provided you are able to fit in the stock wheel) and many more i guess.

My opinion, not worth it. Might as well you invest in a good spring, fork oil and a little adjustment will do just as great, or similarly.

 

But if u happen to venture and do that project, keep us updated!

Front end is off a CBR600RR (which year, not sure).

U can get it over at japan.webike. There are many types.Just get the universal one.It happens to be the cheapest too.Got few colors.After conversion to Spore dollars,less than $50.Abs plastic material.Quite solid IMHO.

I got mine from Motoworld for $180 excluding new oil seals and fork oil which worked out to another $50.
