bro i cant find K and N air filter in spore,most of them said dont wasted my time cos there isnt any in spore already.

Just came back from a 300 kms ride to the highland mountains in the north.

We call it The City of Pines because its nestled atop the Cordilleria mountain

range.

 

A total of 65 big bike riders participated in this epic ride.

The entire ride was sponsored by Petron Philippines who is promoting

their new motorcycle mineral oil, Sprint 4T.

 

It was a good time to test my newly installed progressive

springs too.

Hi guys. Just before I left for my trip up north, I installed progressive springs

hoping to get a better, smoother ride. It was a perfect time to test it.

Unfortunately, it was a very stiff ride. Not much rebound and cruel vibrations.

My hands and arms were aching really bad during the entire trip.

 

When I got home, I checked the internet to see it I did it right.

At 180 lbs., the spacer should be cut at 5.5 inches each.

The PVC pipe supplied by the manufacturer was only 10 inches total.

So, cut down the middle, it was only 5 inches per fork. it was short of 1 inch. Theorically, the shorter the spacer, the softer the ride right? Mine was already 1/2 in. short per fork and yet I still had a stiff ride?

 

Any ideas on what to do?

wonder if a honda magna 750 can still be found on sale nowadays?

roughly they're about how many years old? let's say.. the last year of manufactured is when?

The last year the Magna was made was 2003. This was the batch called the 3rd generation. Magna's have been around since the early 80's then they stopped production only to come back in the early 90's. The age of the powerful V4 engine is slowly drawing to a close, I guess.

 

The magna is in an elite category called Power Cruisers. Its a harmony of cruiser comfort and stability with the kickass power of famous Honda VF750 Interceptor. Can you imagine cruising at 180 kph on the open road? Hahahaha

 

You can still find magna's for sale but they are few and far between.

I guess Magna owners are more passionate than others.

If I was a bit more decisive then, I would be riding a 2003 Magna. Now have to content with...a faster V4...hehe...

Yup. Been quiet here for a while now. I'm still waiting for my bikini cowl

which should arrive before the year ends. I'm so excited about that.

I haven't done much riding too. Stormy weather and lots of work at the office.

 

Yes, I use to have the Vista cruise control installed on my magna.

It's mechanically operated which means that it "locks" the throttle.

You have to release it manually though. I took mine off since I got the

kuryakin throttle boss installed. Feels much better for me.

how is magna's maintenance like? frequent or troublesome? is the spare parts still available in the market nowadays?

i heard there might be a 4th generation of magnas coming out soon... wonder how true is that.

Hi folks. Good news and bad news.

 

I just got my Icon Regulator Vest and my OEM bikini fairing for my Magna.

The bad news is someone offered me a good price for my Magna and its gone.

 

I remember swapping my Magna a few months back and getting it back.

But this time, it's gone for good. I guess its time to move on. I'm going

to miss that bike but I know its going to be in good hands and I might see

it on the road one of these days.
