Just manage to find the distributor. AS Phoon Toh Guan has them. The whole kit above for $99. Seems like a gd deal to start off with.

Isnt this the kappa alternative to that boomerang shaped givi monokey brackets?

Superior quality.

You may want to find a threaded steel rod to equalize left and right loads, especially if you are using monorack heavy duty arms. They dont flex too well, and can snap. Especially towards the end, where you screw on the baseplate. Thats the weakest point of the monorack, imho.

You could fabricate the main holder and the rest... but what makes it "latch on & off" is the GIVI MONOKEY CATCH.... you'll still have to get this... rip it off old plates will do...

But do remember to get the metal ones... plastic ones just can't make it....

Oh... so you mean on these bracket there still a catch mount on for the box to fix in? nah... then it make very difficult liao... might not worth the trouble... but I can see that the box seems flat than other normal boxes... what model is that?

Better to get the original and have a good work shop mount it to your rode...

Monokey Boxes has 3 mounting points... 2 nos of catch and a latch-catch quick release on the other end.

Those who are using Monokey Boxes will understand what I meant...

But there again... Buying the kappa mounting rack is 1/2 the work done. So mode of custom workz is still required.

IMHO, after fitting up the boxes.... Do remember that you'll have to rebuild the rear shocks to handle the extra weight... Other wise handling will suck big time...

Givi e45. They don't make them like they used to.

You can look at givi trekkr46/36 if you have trouble finding a second hand e45

Couldn't agree more! The old E45 are one of the best boxes they have ever made!

And even now... They don't come cheap ~ brand new...

Yupz... Went down to take a look at the rack and its solid. Can fit in H&B Junior panniers but not long enuff for the locking catch. The rear reinforce bar can fabricate easily and cheap.

Wah you good leh... Got such service for you. Can actually get the dimension even if hook up liao. Then can fabricate for H&B panniers and it would be cheap cos can custom for CB400.

I have one... E50 are great box... however, with the current style of Full Face Helmets... having a pair is pain in the butt!

Thus, managed to hunt for a 2nd Hand Kappa 52l, it could fit in a pair of Full Face Helmets without much fuss... :)
