hi i got a problem with my brakes but its a wave just wondering anyone can give their input.

whenever i change to new brakepads for my wave the freeplay of the frt tyre will be severely affected meaning frt tyre will be very difficult to spin using hand like the brake pad is in constant contact with the brake disc lidat.

does this mean the brake caliper o-rings are needed to be changed and serviced?

The pistons are probably jam at the old position.

How time flies...

brakes... ppl always talk about Brembo Brake pump. wat 18x19 or 19x20.

what's the major difference after changing to Brembo Brake Pump.

if i were to change brake pump...

wat is the correct brake pump size to use? 18x19 19x20????

totally noob abt this... someone pls help enlighten me?

i'm so confused...:giddy:

i help u.. :deal:

for our bikes 2 sizes are available..

1) 19x20

2) 19x18

difference?

the modulation. (the feel of the brake) & the price.. 19x18 is more costly than 19x20

20 is more for street use feel not bad but TO ME it's not good enough..

18 has MORE feel you can feel how much brake is applied.. more for track use but can be used on the street as well..

the bite of the brakes is almost the same.. cannot say is the same..

btw i using 19x20.. haha dont ask me y i not using 19x18.. cos..

i no money..

erm... any good mech or workshop to do bleeding?

i changed to ebc brake pad and hel hose recently but i find the lever rather soft when i apply brakes. It becomes even softer after 1 week of use.. so now i'm thinking of re-bleeding and hope it works.

Any other options?

Practical Test Checklist:

√ Sudden and late braking

√ Faulty signal lights

√ Superb use of horn

√ Assume road belongs to father

√ Never at fault no matter what happens

√ Tailgating confidence

Result: YES! You qualify to become a Singapore car driver!

Sounds like re-bleeding is the only choice. Should be air stuck in the brake lines or container.

Would suggest u go back to the same shop u install the HEL lines, since they never do a good job of bleeding.

I think thats normal ar bro, reason why is the rear brake have fixed disc and needs floating calipers. For the front will be fixed calipers and floating disc. :thumb:
