Imagine how nice it would be... switching a supermotard into a roadrace machine and back again at will.

 

Supermotards... the only way to go now.

 

Put on knobby tyres....it is a dirt bike.

Put on road tyres..... it is a road bike.

Put on the Roland Sands fairing kit - it is a sportsbike.

Hope we get to see these awesome parts, conversion kits or turn key setup made available in town when the local track at Changi is ready, should be a blast to ride...i can imagine....

Remind me of the old Yamaha SDR200 of th 80's. Those crazy yamaha engineers put on a retuned two stroke scrambler engine into a road bike. The result is an insanely manic bike.

awhile back...about 3 yrs i think.

 

In US, a company actually fitted a CRF450 rebuilt race engine into a Aprilia RS 50 frame. The rims were changed to fit slightly bigger wheels, but no change in fairing and other dimensions.

 

This bike was made for track, but for top speed testing at salt lake.
