wrist injury from motorbike skid.

 

frustrating, can't ride, can't grab things, can't exercise, can't open doors, can't drum without pain in wrist.

 

just hope it recovers asap.

If i recall its not foreign registered but its more of the kr with box kinda bike. can see scratches all over the bike. dirt etc. at first, I kinda feel sorry for the bike instead coz its a great bike and was one of my first choices is to get a kr. infact getting a kr is even cheaper than my spark haha...

 

Sometimes, it may no be the KR that did the deed. I have ever experienced, happily finding a parking lot, moved my bike in there, and then see the next bike lot got 2 small bikes.

 

Was thinking its because some folks wanted to park their bikes together with their friends, so squeezed together into one bike lot because maybe the other bike lot was occupied earlier.

What is bugging me now is that I'm quite pissed with the service of one of the reputable bike shop.

I had given them the benefit of the doubt but they keep repeating their unproffesionalism and ignorance.

 

So I decide to come here to share but I can't find a suitable thread,

but I don't want to start new thread and bother so much about it.

seen already, and blew 95 for first vist, 100 for the follow up, which was unnecessary money spent.

 

no fractures, just sprained the ligaments in between the bones withnin the wrist. ***** is that ligaments take longer to heal than bones because of lesser bloodflow there. so sucks.

u gotta be mentally prepared that it may not recover 100%. wrists are complicated things. must go for physiotherapy when its better. so that can retain as much use of your hand as possible. but meantime, u got to be patient.

yeah, no insurance cover. only getting accident coverage only.

 

the doc said will heal, but will take some time. and in my head i know probably 10 20 years down the low, athritis will set in.

Don't know if you guys heard of the hit and run case earlier this morning on PIE towards Tuas after Toh Guan exit. The rider got away with some injuries but the young female pillion died in hospital hours later. Driver? Ran. Does this driver deserve to rot in hell? Yes. Be careful out there guys, once again, we have more and more road menace these days.

dear riders, please dun have excursions to malaysia anymore. it is killing you with 2 long weekends and the immigration on both sides have been making the lanes almost impossible to negotiate... pls, consider staying at singapore and spend more time with your family...

Ever since I read somewhere that eating something sweet in the day will help keep your mood happy. I have been regularly eating something sweet, like a steam tau sar bun daily.

 

And sometimes, I just have a craving. Like now. I was thinking back today and realised that I didnt have a sweet stuff today, so I feel a bit cranky before sleeping.....

I also hated my father very much, guess this is what they call retribution.

My wife also hated her father when she was a teenager too.

 

Maybe children don't understand their father or most father don't know how to live with their children.

Im no father, but wat i would hav done is to scold him and sit him down. I will want to know who he learnt it from and y does he think its ok to be used on u.

But then even when hate his father a lot also cannot scold vulgar language and put up middle finger to his father and put on a fighting stance.

Even if cant get thru, also talk to him. Dont leave it at that, it will get worst. Teenage is the most volatile age. I had a nephew who almost join gangs, the organised kind. His father raise the alarm and the whole string of relatives came to talk to him. NOw he's ok, at shatec studying to be a chef.

I belief to maintain a good father and son relationship is extremely difficult because as a father I always wants my son to be the best.

My expectation of him is very high and I always wants him to be better than me at least.

 

Maybe I scold him too much or too harshly. I should be more like his mother as being much softer to him.

 

But then if I behave like his mother, I would be gay, right? and my son would not be born, sigh...

 

Thinking back, I should have kept my mouth SHUT (be a good guy) and let my wife do the disciplining in the house.
