Sorry to add to the absentees tonight but decided to leave my bike at my sister's place - taking care of touching up a couple of scratches on her rented car tomorrow morning.

 

I'm looking to get saddle bags for my bike to tour. Having debates with the pillionette who says it's best to get hardshell cases. I want to get waterproof bags, something like the ortlieb ones.

 

Any thoughts?

depends which sideboxes u gettin..sum sideboxes may block the pillion footrest so it will uncomfortable for ur pillion. e best would be a v35 or k33 coz e shape follows e arch of the legs..be mindful at highspeeds, ur bike may fishtail

cause if so just report back to the company

i think just pay and let the company settle

i think at the end of the day they likely wil just leave it there

and is it confirmed caused by her?

Yeah will be mostly for touring. Commuting I don't think I'll need more than what i currently use.

Will check how the monokey racks look and all that - I'm clueless about racks and boxes and saddle bags so need to do a bit of searching !
