Guys, anyone knows how many digits the trip meters have ?

I know the main tripmeter on the speedo goes up to 99 999 (right ?) km, but what about trip meter 1 and trip meter ? I always use them to calculate short trips

Without a proper GPS or a trip meter that can go up to 10k km, it's going to be a pain to record the mileage ... (yes I can use the main speedo tripmeter, but I don't want to do maths every day..)

YES...MUST off the fuel lever before you disconnect the grey fuel hose from the fuel lever side...if not you will have fuel gushing out...

if you are not really sure of how to take out and put back the tank,my advise is don't do it on your own 1st...

meet up and let someone teach/show you 1st in case you damage the wiring and/or the tank...

i will try to find some pics of the location and parts later when i get home...

now at a wedding dinner...

i did take off the seat today after my a bike wash n was looking underneath but didnt remove the rear bolt to lift up the tank.. if its not doable i'll wait for some one to show me :)

alrights, will wait for ur pics :D

Definitely 999.9. Then moves to 0. Its the same on both trip meters. I reset the first one each time i fill up. I also reset the second one each time I servie my bike.

When is the last time anyone hit over a thousand km in a single full tank?

Just use your odometer, and subtract end reading from start.

Bajaj Pulsar 180 - UG3 (2007 - )

Suzuki GSXR-400 (2008 - 2009)

Piaggio Vespa GT 200L (2009 - 2011)

Yamaha YBX 125 (2010 - )

Yamaha FZ S1 '05 (2011 - )

It's not about the fuel Spaiduhz, it's to help me keep track of the overall distance I'm going to do, and also accurately help me identify milestones (1000km, 5000km etc..)

Like I said earlier in a previous post, obviously I know I can do some maths, but it's really not the best solution for tracking mileage now is it ?

The GPS mileage tracking function is so much better, allows you to draw stats for your daily riding.

I'm just looking for a way to record my daily rides as accurately as possible, for future references :)

i got an idea since most of us can't go for such long trip maybe we still can go up with you as a convoy to somewhere in m'sia then after that you can continue on the rest of the trip while we head back to SG(:cry:boring:cry:)
