some of the guys bought the coils...

for V3 ground it has good low end torque...

btw those who planning to change to the protec coils, some of you might have to tune a bit on the afr some don't need...

Haha good idea. but after market horns looks too obvious on a naked bike. so far i haven't had much use of the horn.. maybe i'll change to air horns when those inconsiderate Sg drivers piss me off some more..

nope, didn't anything amiss notice about the filter light... YET.

just sharing for the filter for P200

when bike cold the sensor might light up

after riding and warm up the light will go off...

not to worry about it...

the coil wise if you interested anytime can order from mj or myself...

but like i share just now the more ppl get the shipping and admin fee can be shared...

It was really nice to see new faces yesterday and put faces on forum nicknames. Sorry I couldn't stay too long, had to be somewhere else, hopefully next time I'll have a chance to chat more with the new guys !

It's amazing how many of you got a scare yesterday evening.. I'm glad everyone managed to avoid the worse

 

Alvin, I'm not sure if I'm going to install the goodies today - I have a massive ear pain and not feeling like playing mechanic with my head high on Panadol. But as soon as I do I'll keep you posted.

Again, thank you so much for taking care of this MO: it was superbly organized, a breeze to register and pay, and the updates were clear and timely. Also, you got the goods quickly and the collection was really well prepared as well. (What, I liked the little pizzas boxes strapped together with a label with my name ! ). So again, thanks a lot for making it possible for all of us to equip our bikes with nice things !

Oic. Sorry man. Didn't notice its for UG3 and above. Which part is the black portion? Is it the red rubber frame? I guess no choice have to sell and get the cone filter. Haha

maybe can conduct a basic diy session on how to remove plugs,tank,change filter,change coil,change pilot lights...

Alvin, my air filter indicator lighted up throughout the entire journey from Tampines to my workplace in Upper Jurong Road (bout 40km). i have a feeling that my filter sensor may be clogged , or perhaps it's due to the engine oil blocking it since we noticed the oil in the filter compartment yesterday? I'll try to check and see the compartment later (even though i have no idea where the sensor is. lol.) If not, i'll get UM to check the sensor. Thank you for yesterday though!

Was looking around for input on using hiking boots vs riding boots.

There's (of course!) a full length mega-detailed-extra-controversial thread on ADVRider about it, which leads me to conclude that nothing will ever save your feet from a crash better than hardcore off road boots that weight a ton and make no concession to anything before protection.

 

And also, that on the road from the flip-flop to the said hardcore MX boots, there are many many towns you can stop by for refreshment and safety : Full leather sneakers town, leather hiking boots or army boots town, non leather hiking boots, lightweight casual riding mid boots kampung, mid MX boots village (Alpinestars Tech 2 are my favorite).
