The LCD meter is giving wrong reading no matter how many times i press.. 99999km.. Trip 1, Trip 2.. So UM said they will fix that problem.

Also the cabling underneath the meter will be packed nicely. I am only collecting my beloved on Wednesday. CANT WAIT!! haha

Ok! So first date will be stripping off spark plug and air filter.

The throttle snaps back quickly but not the sound. Sounds like it needs a proper overhaul? Just to be safe?

since you have not collected your bike, ask UM to check it out for you...

ask them to do a check on the engine etc...

Valve clearance means need to open the head = top overhaul isn't it?

Now i am wondering if it can be mounted with side boxes..

Woooo i love side boxes as i got this fetish of perfection on sideboxes

1) $180 quoted by lab. Its the givi e21. It includes the installation and parts. its nice and cheap. Well very cheap. I had bpught a second hand one before. I used for day 1. And sold it off the day aftwr. Its nicw. Can still squuze traffic jams! but i find it abit deadweight impractical. I can only store my raincoat. And sone gears like gloves. Jacket. Wallet. Blabla. NO it cant fit helmet. Cant even fit my laptop. And was very dissapointed witht the e21. And sold it offf.

2) SADDLEBAGS. tries on the komine saddlesbaga and oxford bags. They are good. But not secure. Its just zips. And NOT WATERPROOF. Haiya. Still can squeeze tho. Its 32 cm expanded. Width

3) givi v35. Aiyo very expenaive looooooo very expensoze. Its like can get two arai for the price of two boxes. Not including the cuatomised racks. But they are very handsome.

4) give th 01 or sonething. Its also expensive.. Those are hardbags. But they are zips. No safe.

5) h&b 37l. Gobi. Abit ex. But cannot fot in helmet. also nono.

6)then one fine day. I asked fci singaporw to customise a box for the pulsar. And was quoted 600 for two boxes.NOT includong the racks. And waaay not worthy.

7) then this is where my hunt ended. GIVI E20N. i got both used but good at tampines scrapyard for $10. And diy my own rack. Totoal cost $60. The rack are just metal bars from daiso and some screws here there and plastic baseplates. SUPER STURDY. Went to jb. Split traffics. All parking still can squueze. One word. Perfect. im jusf very particular but its perfect. Width is 32 cm just like the komine expended. And topped 134kmh with it. And no issues. I can feed it 1 flip us 1 open face. 2 laptops in those two. And no problem. I know its not safe storing laptop in a box. But fitting my helmet is pratical enough and not jang them over as helmet prey. Or lurk is with hassle

actually E21 can fit quite a lot of stuff...

true can't fit helmet and laptop(due to the curves)...

i am using the 21s daily...

helmet always goes to my topbox...

my side boxes i have my cleaning clothes, toolbox, tie downs,sunglasses,2 set of raincoat, fit my armoured mesh jacket in and still have space for take away drinks, shoe bag, small sling bag...

my rain coats(1 set ogk,1 set taichi) & mesh jacket all goes into 1 side box...

all comes down to what you need to store and how you store it...

Ic. So you mean the valve clearance can be done by just removing the tank and openning the big bolt on the engine head? Wondering what the labour charge would be for that, I guess my bike needs the valve clearance to be done as Ah Tchie told me last time.
