think i gotta do it before i ride home.. its almost 15km.. dunno if the bike can last till i get home.. or about 15km to UM..

bs29 carb factory default on Pulsar is

 

idling rpm = 1400 +- 100

mixture or volume control screw = 2.5 +-2 turn out

 

so since u are using knn af just adjust around dat range or slightly slightly higher it should be ok ....

 

but dats depend too if ur TEC exhaust box is still intact .. lolz

I will get ready a screw driver to carpark later.. see if I can get it adjusted then probably go to UM over the weekend to fine tune it..

 

as long as there is no cik-cik-cik-cik sound..

the "cicik" sound comes when riding at 60-80km/h.. didnt go higher coz im afraid of somthing coming loose..

My bike's high beam and pass light not working. Ah Tchie diagonised that bulb is ok, Switch is also ok but the Switch body control unit is spoil, cost 100$ at UM

I actually dont need the high beam at the moment, as I almost never ride in the night(Strictly office to home kind of rider haha) and Singapore anyways, with such lovely street lights dont need it anyways.

But I guess, for Inspection it will be needed and my inspection is due only next year May.

By then need to source this part from India, Along with it might as well get a brand new pair of left side switch, right side switch as the existing ones look really old and tired. and there is bloody screw in the right side switch to prevent me from switching off the headlights looks terribly ugly.

 

Also need to get clutch plates assembly as it is difficult to get to neutral at standstill. Also if possible I would like to bring the entire coverset, jeng jeng jeng...

BTW, @greatmole, I see your pulsar parked daily in my office carpark. I met the Indian guy who you sold it to at UM. How I recognised it? It has the faded patch on the tank, haha. Such a small world.

BCU need extra care to maintain its life span ...

 

1: avoid often contact with water .. so high pressure washing can spoil the bcu easily if its sprayed directly to it

2: battery too if supply unstable current voltage

3: excessive installation of aftermarkets electricals parts

4: remove all sockets connectors to bcu if welding needed on body frame

anyway i have a used bcu ... think its still in good condition cos i changed mine recently cos i tot my bcu spoilt since i hv few hiccups with my lightings ... but after changed a new set problem still exist .. sigh ...

 

so hence i believed its not my bcu issues .. must some hidden wiring connectors haywire ...

 

 

@revhappy let me know i can let u try to see if ur problem can be rectified .... kekekkee

 

 

and pls lah .. dont take advantage on our streets lights .. even if the streets are bright as Marina FI track , there are always an idiotic motorist driving with one hand on the steering and one hand either holding a handphone or a ciga while driving .... kekekek

do check ur plugs condition too for at least it can indicates the lean rich in the combustion chamber as a guide ...

Yes its from my handphone at the basement carpark.. i checked the engine oil level to be ok.. above mark below max..

 

It happened again this morning.. when travelling at 80km/h.. the sound will come..

I checked the cable to the brake light at my box.. intact and no sound when i pull with engine on.. so i think thats not the cause..

 

Then i saw this..

yeah, saw DW the other day, but it is so quite quite and really at the back of the industrial area, UM on the other hand so much hustle bustle.Even Heng Motors hardly see any customers there. Its only the shops in the middle lane, powerwheel, YP motors and another uncle shop Heng Hock or something like that, is always busy.

The puncture is normal. My 200 has that too. Its a water drain hole. So any water in the exhaust will be drained out from there

Thanks MJ bro, sweet of you to let me try. You are right in my case too it may be BCU or one of the connectors. I will contact you again to pick it up. I wish I was staying in the west man. MJ also in the west, UM also in the west, sigh sigh sigh.
