Would love to join the Oct 6th Pulsarians ride. But unfortunately, I just booked my Pulsar 200 ns this afternoon at Universal and turns out the demand is so big in India that the touchdown date for the bikes here in SG has been pushed back to Nov, possibly Dec. So gonna be a few months more before I can switch from the Phantom club to the Pulsar club. But my 500 deposit is down for an all black bike. So now just waiting.

i booked mine at e 1st wk of aug, n them told me i would get it during oct..that mean mine also drag till nov or dec same as ur batch..

Time: 1830hrs(6.30pm) - Those who want to have dinner together

1945hrs(7.45pm) - Safety briefing before defpart

(Please take note of the meetup/briefing timing)

Things to bring:

 

1) Waterproof jackets/Raincoat

2) Riding pants/Jeans/Long pants(NO SHORTS PLEASE)

3) NO SLIPPERS please. SHOES a MUST

4) Gloves/FF Helmets(If possible)

 

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

 

- Please ensure that your motorcycle is in good working condition

- Minimum safety attire: Jeans, covered shoes. Riders and pillions not meeting this requirement will be U-Turned

- Full faced Helmet and riding gear is strongly encouraged. Please bring along your rain gear

- Safety of all the riders is of our utmost concern, so no superman antics please!

- Please observe orderly convoy riding, so no overtaking between bikes, no lane splitting. Please follow the convoy leader at all times and don't freestyle !

- Please respect traffic signs and rules, as well as speed limits

Yah. Quite reluctant sale frankly cos of time and monies spent on it.

Each bike has its pros and cons. Even when I take my x8 out for a spin, it still puts a smile on my face.

 

Today saw a Pulsar 180 with the LS135 headlamp assembly. Looks odd. Needs extra brackets for the mounting point.

need ur advice pls..

 

one of my friend met with an accident, involves two motorbikes.

both decided not to claim each other or pursue the case further and never exchanged details.. only my friend has taken some photos of his bike (broken front mud guard) and the other guy's bike(bent rear number plate)..

 

do u think any further action is required? like I've heard ppl mention, what ever it is, need to report to IDAC and stuff..

 

pls share experience or your valuable advice

I would say go to IDAC and report it. While reporting you have 3 choices:

1)Claim against own insurance(only applicable for comprehensive insurance and not TP and TPFT)

2)Claim against 3rd party

3)Dont claim only report

 

My suggestion, if you want to be nice to the 3rd party atleast go and only report and dont claim, because if the 3rd party decides to be not nice to you, then he may go and claim against you. Legally you need to report every accident or else your insurance company may refuse to pay even if it is not your fault.Just to be on the safe side, its free of cost to just go and report just need to spend couple of hours.
