I wanted to do e tightening of front bearing too, but was warn that it wears the steering cone alot faster so I din't n jus deal with e wobbling.

As for e exhaust sheild loosening,

I suggest this thing call Lock Tight available at DIY stores. Applied b4 tightening e screws. It should remain tighten after application.

I think you should tighten or adjust it for safety.. if its worn then just change.. better than wobbling with cars all around you..

I am now thinking of using hose clamp.. the really big ones.. article-new_ehow_images_a07_8g_5s_install-hose-clamp-800x800.jpg

Hello guys how you doing? :) Back from my trip, went down and connected my battery and the bike started in the 2nd crank :). Went for a short spin and the battery looks good.

But gear changing has become hard, may be due to the lack of lubrication and I see rust on the side of my chain just in 4 days of non use, looks like it rained here.

Wobbling is fine to live with, as long as you hold the handlebars with both hands always, but if you suddenly decide to scratch your nose, then kaboooooom all hell can break loose :)

I think whatever it is, better brake pads or brake hose, end of the day it is to improve the braking distance. I too feel pulsar brakes is not upto the mark compared to its power especially for p200. It's momentum is too much due to its torque and pickup and the braking is not that effective. I just try not to accelerate too much and close the throttle well in advance when stopping at a signal, even if it means road hogging, cars have better brakes so they can afford to rip until the signal and jam brakes, but we cannot.

Agreed,

But my wobbling with 1 hand doesn't happen when I clutch in.

So I often use my right hand for when e need arises.

anyone with exhaust shield loose issue? mine is loose again for the 3rd time..

thinkin of solution now..

1)Lay spring washers between them. 2)Or use electrical tape and wrap the screw thinly, it might bw abit tigh to screw i. the nut but it will stay. Vinyl wont melt much.3) place another nut on the existing nut, means use two nuts. and lock them opposely. Or 4)

Or remove the exhaust shield. . .. HEHEHEHheheeh :D

Posted (edited)

yea!!

i'll remove the shield and wrap it with exhaust wrap.. remove the root of the problem..

anyone know the price of the wrap? if its too expensive.. i will just remove the heat shield.. :(

After a few advise from you guys

Dun think I will use the ring to secure the exhaust shield by hooking it at the middle of the pipe..
