Hi guys.. what are the common things to check when there is a vibrating sound coming from the front after 20km/h? Sounded like from the speedometer..

I have checked

1) black tape all wires and use cable ties to secure the plastic cups which hold all the wires together

2) opened up front head cover and tightened all screws and nuts that hold the front lamp & no. plate

3) tried pressing on to LCD speedometer, mirror, cash card reader, plastic shield, number plate and tank

4) new tires and new brake pads

5) tightened bar ends too

6) with and without keychain

7) air filter cover secured tightly

 

Took up 3 hours and I still cant figure out where the sound is coming from.. haiz haiz..

O ya.. i managed to secure the front signal light.. hell of a job man..

 

i think u and me have same prob...

i oso have that vibrating rattling sound and cant figure out where it comes from...

somemore sounds like from the speedo.

Mine also had same problem, but after Ah Tchie dismantled the head for steering cone bearing replacement, the problem went away.

May be loose screw somewhere. Just completely dismantling and then putting back should fix the issue.

ok guys.. NGAT has rectified 50% of the problem of vibration sound from speedometer..

spray some lub on to the handlebar locking mechanism area.. thats where the vibration is coming from..

apart from this.. rubber felt at the speedometer mount rattle against the head cover may be another 50%..

Any bros know the otr price of pulsar 200 sn? Brand new w COE

 

I went down to the shop on 1 October and the salesperson quoted 7.3k w/o insurance. He also said about 10 people have ordered the bikes and most prolly will be coming around december.

However i heard that it is quite hard to get parts as it is not widely available as yamaha, honda etc. But judging by the number of people riding pulsar here, i suppose it should be quite easy to get parts for 200NS right?

Pulsar parts are all available at Universal Motors. So far, they have been stocking up really well, so no issues. In future once new model arrives, it needs to be seen how the sales pick up and if lots of sale happen then the parts shouldnt be issue for the new pulsar, but I worry that the old pulsar parts, will they still stock up like they are stocking now.

 

3 years from now the oldest Pulsar 180 UG1 COE will be expiring, it will be interesting to see if anyone actually renews COE for it. Availability of parts will be the major factor for it.

Sounds scary man. It can be anything, cant really say from just the noise. Does the bike start now and run normally?
