could be.. i am one of the high-beamers ^ ^ i suspect the screw to adjust headlight height is loose.. even after lowering.. once at high revs the light will be "erected" again

 

do u know how to adjust headlight height? do join us for the outing and bring a long pan-head screwdriver (not the cross head one), we can show u where if u dunno.

Wah suay man today. On my way to work i was on CTE, passed the 1st gantry and when i glanced at my ERP unit i realised it didnt deduct. Moments later i see the 2nd gantry and when i passed it my fears were realized. The ERP unit showed "ERR".

And the thing is i checked before i moved off that my card was properly inserted and it showed me the balance. Anyway to get my IU unit inspected because i suspect it may be faulty, as the ERROR msg always appear when i insert my cashcard.

 

Worst case scenario, how much is the fine?

 

sometime maybe is the Cashcard fault.. u got try using other cashcash into ur IU??

 

last time i kenna also.. card keep giving me error. then change one new cashcard. problem solved!

i have finally solved my problem of logging in !!

Hi every 1, met up with some of u during the SBF 2 aniv convoy,

A few Issues i need all the big Bro's help. !

 

1. i wish to change my Front Wheel to Tubeless - any recommendation ?

2. my Bike will not start after a long ride. it works perfectly every time , only after riding for 10mins or more, den when i off engine, and try to on again, wont work, unless kick start. - some time at traffic light when i stall have to get down to kick start as the electric wont work. The engine will turn and make a sound but wont get into starting mode.

 

3. My engine oil leaks from the round thing on the right side. any bro noe the name of glue i can put to cover the leakage ?

 

4. any Bro noe where to go to change a Stronger light or adjust the lights ? i cant seem to see my headlights only on highbeam will i see reflection.

Any bro tried "carlube" engine oil? Saw it at AMK fairprice only $7.50 per bottle. Not too sure whether it is fully or semi Synthetic.

1. for tubeless, just get any tubeless tyre is enough. battlax is good but expensive. last enquired is $95 for rear and $85 for front. for me, cheaper alternative is ah gua lane, RM130 for rear Dunlop. but if find from secluded motorshop, can get less than RM100 but need Malaysia friend to accompany you. scared kena robbed or kena conned.

 

 

2. no idea... my bike can NEVER kickstart.

 

3. u can try the ever reliable super glue. the elephant brand or anything else good. but i can tell you no point. cos the superglue will cover the leak for a few days only. unless you planning on using superglue in every few days, i recommend you to change the rubber thing cos most prob it had already hardened and shrunk a bit. damage will be $75 at UM. just changed mine a few weeks back. wasted tens of dollars cos keep changing engine oil. if you decide to change your rubber thing, DON'T change your engine oil cos they'll flush away your engine oil to fix the rubber thing. cos they flushed away my 2 days old engine oil!!

 

4. U can ask anyone else here. most of the rest has changed their lightings.

My FC very bad... 25km/ltr..any idea why???? My normal speed is 100 -106 km/hr..mostly KJE/PIE..

went to UM.. the mechanic adjusted someting. called it timing.... any idea wht is this engine timing????

some pple swear by washing carb will give u new power cos the carb is clean n shiny.

but from wat i understand 4 stroke carb no need to wash so freq. got pple oso say 3 months wash once or when u change oil wash or 2 oil change wash once.

my mechanic at UM says carb no need wash la. still can use like normal. wash bike also won't enter water.

some people swear by it.. like lindavw said more power n better performance

 

others say it increases the chance of wear n tear..

if wanna lane squeeze on high beam is good, as long as you're already lane splitting.. they see bright light from mirror will siam. as long as you're at a good speed

the engine oil leaks can ask them put a seal cost $45 dollar do at um,

then light i also have problem b4 they change back to the pulsar original light can liao cost $8 dollar. Did u get a 2nd hand bike or 1st hand? If 2nd hand maybe the bulb have been change to some other brand then the original light.
