talk abt engines, hw come pulsars top speed is only 120km? n its 180 -200cc?? some 4 stroke bikes like cbf150 or cbr150, their tp spd is higher dan pulsars. their cc is 30ccs lower than pulsars. i dun quite understand how manufacturers build their bikes. :cool::confused:

 

CBR150 definately can go fast

estimate time if no delay and if travel at clear carbon speed... say is about 130am

mm..weigh about 40 kg loh..+/- 1 kg..rather short also 159cm skarly legs cant touch the ground..=s

I am shorter then u and i am tip toeing on my pulsar after i shave the seat a little.. before shaving i tip toe like ballerina..

 

So i think u shld be able to touch the ground..

 

Pulsar to me is not that light at all.. when full tank.. but trust me as times goes by.. u will get used to the weight.. this is good practise for 2A from my POV.. 40kg? i think u will look pretty small on pulsar..

 

Like some of the guys said, maybe we can only see the helmet moving when u on the bike.. But i feel Pulsar is good for pre-2A

eh sometimes i get fed up with the speed also.. but at times i feel heng ah, not that fast.. contradicting..

it's not all about the engine displacement size. have to take into account their bore and stoke size, the gear ratio, drive train and the list goes on...

 

to put in simple word, you like pulsar look and want speed, get rxz. slimmer version of pulsar.

how about r125?? they have 55cc less but they are faster than pulsar!! anyway, be thankful with the speed that you have. for me now, i travelled at only 60-90km/hr. hehe... cost saving and saving my licence. left 3 points for 5 more mths.

Date: Friday, 13th February 2009

 

Destination: Kulai Nasi Lemak. (Halal)

 

Time to Meet: 10pm @ Tuas SPC Station. *to do headcount* Refer to map http://www.streetdirectory.com/asia_...l_site_113830/

 

(Change in meet up place, pls note! No such things as meet at GP if u want to join us.)

 

Move Off Time from SPC : 10.15pm (late comers will not be entertained.)

 

Requirements: Any 2B bikers is welcome.

 

Speed: Avg speed not lesser than 90km/h.

 

2A and above are welcome to join but adhere strictly to point 4 in T & C.

 

T & C:

 

1. 2A and above bikes are welcome too.

2. Rest assured that there will be a lead bike, marker and sweeper.

3. Stick with the convoy.

4. Do NOT overtake the lead bike. Once overtaken, U R ON UR OWN.

As usual, the normal 'rules' apply to the trip.

 

No racing slippers and shorts/bermudas.

say, anyone had their timing chain aka cam chain become loose until rattle alot? or changed cam chain tensioner? Any idea what's the damage?

 

everytime after change gear, when throttling up, can hear clattering/tacking sounds coming from the engine............

Not sure what's machine price and stuff but here's what I got when I called:

200cc $5.5-$5.6

 

Think COE included not sure about insurance.
