my previous owner changed the rear...but i open all the way can only hit 105...

guess should be tires le.. can also guess the previous owner change his rear tires to battlax.. which is 110 in size. stock wan is 100 only.. and Battlax is more stickly.. so will pull down the top speed.. but good abt it is good in coner and safety in raining day.

i think if u wan a new tank.. ask UM ug2 tank can fit or not coz is 18litres..

I think so... have water coming in also... enuf to keep a tadpole alive.

something 2 share. went jb on sunday 2 change eo n top up fuel. went 2 bapok lane 2 change eo. from der, i wanted to go to EXTRA market but dunno which direction 2 go, so i tot "nvermind, just get lost once in a while" cos from bapok lane 2 extra wasnt far. i ended up at dis dead end or malay said "jalan mati". i turned bck n tried using diff routes n 2 my suprise, i ended up the same place again..... 4 times. i was soaked with sweat. frustrated, i stoped by d side n observe d sorroundings. something was not quite normal n it was freakishly quiet,dats wat i tot. i remembered seeing an abandoned truck in front of a rusted gate n sorrounding trees. i recited some prayers n move off. finaly i reached my destination. relieved, i parked my bike, took a breather n continue on.

 

moral of d story, dun get lost.

i not too sure. i went hou heng on a friday. it opened around 4.30-5pm. u wana change 2 wave spocket? i did. cost me rm55 1 set. add another rm20 u'll get a better chain.

U mean spocket + chain one set cost 55RM? I was quoted more than 100+SGD in singapore.

phantom i not sure. i tot pulsar cos it costs me rm55 using scorpion chain + front n rear spoc. like i mention earlier, add rm20 more, u'll get a better chain. duno wat TA200 means though. hehehe.

talking abt tires, is there a difference between the stock tires and battlax?

 

I had one experience where a car actually jam brake in front of me and i had to jam brake also. both my tires rear and front skied. My rear is fishtailing. It felt like i was riding on ice. I thought i was about to fall i tried my best to keep my balance. After that i stop beside the car and look in. The driver was looking away... well i can't blame someone for jamming brake can i?

 

btw, I alot of morning I saw a lady pulsar rider on SLE. She riding a red 180cc pulsar. Her helmet is tinted. is she in this forum?

 

 

Juz another question, for the fun of it. Can we change pulsar gear box?

btw 140209, at orchard pillion my friend.. jam like siao.. a car e brake.. i also brake hard.. knock abit on his rear bumper.. very small knock.. no dent maybe small scratch only.. then i act blur.. horn him.. he don dare look at mi.. guess he nv heard the knock also..

when car jam break they are also feeling the adrenaline rush and worry for their own safety.. unlikely they will have the time to notice anything behind the car. unless experienced drivers who know how to keep their calm. but thats the elite of mankind.. not many out there

battlax and stock tires sure can skid one. technique must be right. that's more important. but battlax definitely have much better grip than stock. anyway, i thought i saw lindav 2 nights ago along the ECP towards changi airport. i rudely looked at him as i overtake. cos i wanna check if familiar or not mah.

They OFF on tuesday or monday... can't really get the correct timing... but on wednesday u go, confirm open.

u can change the clutch plate to OEM type... but i not sure what is the brand of the OEM. But do it at ur own risk...
