lower ur rear suspension n front fork. dat shld solve ur prob i think. but i think dat shld hav some effect in terms of cornering.

best way is to go rewrap your seat la. ask them to trim the sponge some more. if not, you can try wear boots. can add at least an inch for stability.

I monitor every wk or 200km, whichever comes first. oil colour is still nice n clean. problem is that straightaway, the oil level is "low" if i don't screw the dipstick in. If i screw it in, it comes up nicely to the marked level. The mech who changed my EO commented that mine must screw in to check one, while he was changing my EO (not UM mech). Then the UM mech tell me no need to screw in, just put 1.2L to play safe can liao.

So now got conflicting information. Trust the regular mech who change for me or trust UM. Which is the model of pulsar with the sightglass? Is that the _200?

Oh, btw, firefox, when you check you don't screw in one la? And it still comes up to the marked X-es? Or at the little bit below the X but never touch the X?

as suvespa says, no need to screw in. take out. wipe dipstick. then poke it in. if no oil means a bit dangerous already. but if you screw in and then take out but still no oil, you better put in some more engine oil. anyway, after a fresh oil change, when poking it without screwing it in, the oil should be about 1 inch from the end of the dipstick already.

Bro, sorry to ask again. how affect in term of corning, can define. thanks

Regarding this, i told my bike shop.. he told cannot lower my rear suspension and fork...

He recomended me to change to a smaller tyre...

Is this true??

change smaller tyre can la. but then must change rim also what. waste of money. anyway, if you lower(soften) your suspension, you will sacrifice some stuffs. hard suspension is stable when cornering but uncomfortable when going over bumpy roads. if soft, it's the opposite la.

as for fork, if you lower them, your centre of gravity will be lower also. so it's like a bit of sportsbike already la. then more confidence in cornering. but doesn't mean it's good. as it will means you have lesser ground clearance when cornering. also, after lowering fork, you also must lower the rear to maintain the bike's geometry. else, the handling will definitely feels different.

my best advice to you is to cut and rewrap the seat and perhaps use a thick boots. more straightforward and simpler. im sure the engineers who engineered the bike are pro enough to ensure that stock settings is the optimum balance between power and stability. replacing the parts with better brands is alright but changing the geometry of the bike makes a hell load of unsuspecting differences.

how lng can a normal chain n spoc last? my wave spoc n scorpion chain is around 3 months old. currently front 15, rear 38. i no its redicilous 2 change dem now. is DID chain an o ring chain? will changing 2 o ring chain effect d performance of my bike?

saw dis modded pulsar using gsx tyres on some webbie. does it hav a great effect in performance if u mod like dat? agghh!! im so envious of them. i wanted to try to change spoc sizes so dat at 8prm, i can reach 110. currently running 104-105 at 8rpm. i no i hav 2 sacrifice my pickup, but my wallet n my will to change spoc is very very itchy now.

aha! read some thread saying if u want speed, replace d gearbox with a honda cbf250, or in d end, buy a new bike!!
